I believe it is an Xbox-wide policy that you have to be able to turn crossplay off in order to even have crossplay in your game to begin with. Warzone has a toggle to turn off cross play in the settings. It’s also a big reason why something like Final Fantasy XIV online has said they don’t release on xbox because of that restriction. Maybe that has changed but if MCC is anything to go off of we should be able to restrict matchmaking to the same platform if we want to.
