We know this already and how the bots have all these different customization options.
Giving us a robust customization wants 343’s plan.
They fully intended on locking things down to specific Armor Cores and peices. Making us re purchases the same stuff over and over to access it across multiple cores.
They also are still planning on time gating content and features. The store is a rip off of duplicate items locked to one or two things.
The bots having all these abilities means that they don’t have to rebuild those features and it will take time. No it’s already in the programing but it’s locked out on our end. But not for the bots.
The it’s going to take time is to buy the business/marketing team time to find another way to monetize those features.
But yea right now the bots wearing The new Gen armor can put Halo reach armor attachments on and vice versa. Honestly I’m seeing more and more how 343 has been planning to keep content and features away from us and drip feed it to players.
How many actual peices of are.or have we gotten so far.
Now take all the armor from reach, imagine getting maybe one at or set every week. And every 5th week they re rotating some of the same ones. Now imagine they make.updated versions for the newer armor.
They can spread that armor put between events and store purchases well over a year or 2. While repeating some previous armor purchases.
Same with colors. We had 60 available colors in H5.
Halo infinite they gave us 10. They can resell us the other 50 over and over for the next year or two or three years.
The Bots have freedom of cross core customizations and we don’t, which means it’s in the program they just don’t want us to have it.
Reasons are possibly to save it for possible future content features or most likely they want to lock things as much as possible so they can keep selling us the same armor parts, coatings, and attachments for the 10yr lifespan of this game.
That’s 3500 days. Now imagine take all the Halo reach armors, and how many possibly customization options can we mix and match with those.
Now take the 50 colors we didn’t get for free. How many options could we make with just those 50 as a primary and secondary…
They can essentially keep selling us the same stuff colors in different combinations while drip feeding us armor stuff just from reach alone and lock it to cores for the next 10 yrs.
That kinda sounds like the plan. They aren’t giving us new content they just locked us out of the real customization options that the bots have, so can sell us Emile’s shoulder peice 10 different times. At 20 bucks a price in a bundle that gives you 5 of the same coating and 4 of the same emblem.
