Cross Core Customization is NO longer a request!

Consumers are exactly in the right position to make demands. Commerce itself is built on this belief.

Only about 40% of the time.
The majority of commerce itself is built on addiction.

I have no idea what this means… Are you saying addiction isn’t a demand?

One doesn’t believe that 343 Industries can produce a solid Halo game. They always screw up half the game somehow.

And yet, they still are around despite the failures of Halo 4 and Halo 5. And I wonder just how many pre-ordered Halo Infinite?

Addiction doesn’t require belief. Just chasing a state of euphoria that can satiate a craving, a craving either a fault of your own or calculated by a manufacturer. Cigarettes contain nicotine to induce this craving and cause the addiction.

They can’t turn it off, they can only turn off crosscore armor, lol.

Do you have a hard time with reading comprehension orrr?

There by turning off your crosscore armor making it default.

Do you have a hard time with reading comprehension orrr?

You are against crosscore armor, yet if it was in the game, you would use it? Interesting

Makes sense, but that’s a distinction without a difference. “Demand” merely means that someone wants something - motivation is irrelevant.

There is issues with the sholders in halo inf in general.

Bro, you make fun of my reading comprehension? I was using it as an example. And even then, when did I say, “If cross core were added I would definitely use it, even though I dislike it”? But I actually wouldn’t. I would make it mimic my Reach Spartan (just need the Kukri and chest piece). So, unless you can show me where I said that I would use crosscore, don’t even try to reply again.

I clearly said only items that don’t go with your core can be blocked, yet you still made this comment as an argument against it

Which insinuates that you were using the ODST helmet on another core than the MK. V.

Unless you want to edit it…

I wear the ODST helmet on Mark V [B]. If I were to use it on Mark VII, and someone could turn it off, it would defeat the point of me using it at all. If I want ODST on Mark VII right now, I can use Firefall. Which I hope they bring back soon, cause I want to be able to have both my cores be ODST’ed

Keep on contradicting yourself bud

True.

But the motivation behind the demand is what allows some companies to have a great reputation while others are hated.

People spread hate about EA, Activision-Blizzard, Warner Bros, and Ubisoft due to their wallet-digging tactics at getting your money.

But then you have companies like 4A Games, FromSoftware, and Valve who do anything to avoid those tactics.

There are a few reasons why these cutthroat tactics are so commonly used, but there is one business motivation that is the main cause -

Your company got too big!

Take a look at Ubisoft - a company with 40 development studios internationally. The costs of keeping the company afloat are now too excessive. And unlike Microsoft, Valve, Nintendo, and Sony; these companies do not control their own platform to make money as a direct publisher. Valve and Nintendo make money off of videogames they publish on their platforms and franchise merchandising. Microsoft and Sony do this as well, while also being companies that provide a wide service of tech software and products with use outside of videogames.

Ubisoft develops their own games, and an top of the development and marketing costs; there also comes the publication cost that Microsoft, Sony, Valve, and Nintendo take a cut of to put a product on their platforms.

EA Games is much worse in this regard ! This publisher acquires other game studios, then meddles with their design processes in an attempt to maximize profit yields… only to end up making games that fail if they aren’t sports games and then they liquidate the company for “failing to meet expectations”.
EA Games is going to collapse someday… or just rebrand themselves exclusively as EA Sports since that is the only game genre they can publish consistently without fail.

My point is that a game studio should not expand too far. Some international branches or other studios are okay of course, but I have noticed that once a developer gets around 10 development locations, they have to force their game to be addictive in some way rather than truly enjoyable. Hence why flashy lootbox systems became the norm.

The exception to this rule is of course mobile gaming, because hardly anyone is going to pay money for a mobile game to be downloaded.

Nope, bad reading comprehension on your part. I will try to make it easier for you to grasp.
Should I use my Mark V [B] helmet on my Mark VII core, though I would not, what would be the point if someone can turn it off or change it into Cavalino?

I already answered this

Yet you either ignored it, or (like I said and then you started saying it to me because I called you out on it) you have bad reading comprehension

I know that for you, but what about me? What about the other players? Even if you only wear armor for your friends, I don’t. And I’m sure many others are the same.

Theyre the exact same design

POV: cannabis114 hasn’t played Halo MCC

I made some pretty sweet combinations in Halo 3 MCC

If someone wants to look like an abomination, at least that gives them freedom of expression. Granular Gungnir clipping the Neon Screen effect with pineapple grenades is an abomination already, but Señor Piña is still an option

Like you said, you won’t use it, so it won’t affect you

Most players want crosscore so it won’t affect them either
