It would be really awesome if Waypoint would include a way to cross check players to see if they had played before and what the results were. I cant tell you how many times a feature like that would come in handy for me and I assume others. Many of us have crossed sword before, but may not have been paying attention or have simply played to many games to remember.
Just a thought.
That’d be awesome, actually! Sure, I can see some people using it to flame; i.e. “Dude, you sucked in that game I played against you”, but that’s just what happens on the internet unfortunately. That’s why we’ve got moderators
Kinda reminds me of yesterday, a friend of mind invited somebody to our party, and I was pretty certain I played a game against him a few days before that!
I’ll stop rambling now…
Sounds like an awesome idea. Would it work? Maybe.

Many of the Halo stat-tracking websites had the feature! Of course it would work!

They did? I was never one for stats. In that case, GET IT DONE 343!

I knew I had seen it before, I feel like Halo-tracker might have had it.
That’s by far one of the best ideas I’ve heard for improving the statistics on this website. Maybe you could only use this feature with your buddies on the forums or something? But it’d still be awesome regardless.

I think it would allow for more depth and detail to the stats. Im curious how many people that I have spoke to on forums, that I have actually played.

I always wonder that too. Perhaps each individual forum user gets the option to turn this feature on (It would be on by default) and if people don’t want themselves to be talked about by their recent players or whatever, they could easily turn this feature off. I’d love it though.

Perhaps some constrains would be a good thing, I could defiantly see some flaming happening with game links providing the fuel.
This would greatly improve stats read this 343 and add it!
That was one of my favorite features of Halocharts… When you clicked on someone’s profile it would show whether or not you played with them, or against them. And you could click and see the game stats!

Agreed, the more 343 can give us to work with the better it will be.
