It can be cool that the players have the Mark V (B) armor pieces on the Mark VII armor core or Yoroi, a good example that this option work is the customization of halo reach in the MCC. Please 343 add armor coatings, armor pieces to all armor cores.

I do think this would be cool. Totally get why they do it w/ the pass though. I think that’s unlikely to change, or they’d probably need to re-vamp the whole core system. I like that it brings back some prestige to armor though.
They might not have to revamp it as much as you’d think

I LOVE separate armor cores. I don’t wanna see everything mixed and matched… literally everybody would have katanas on them… I LOVE that only the samurai core has them…
So again, I respectfully disagree really hard about the mixing and matching.

I don’t know, but it’s not imposible, I think 343 could make it in the future
There is no excuse to restrict so much between cores other than to sell you the same items multiple times
I really hope they remove these unnecessary restrictions.
