Crimson playlist

Dear 343,

as a service to your paying customers, please keep the crimson map pack playlist alongside the playlist that will launch with the new(er) map pack. If memory serves me, the noble map pack playlist (my favorite from Reach) was retained even after the next one launched, and for some time after. Now neither are available and it seems unfair to people who paid the money and have little chance of seeing certain maps in the regular playlists (or prefer the mix of gametypes originally associated with a playlist).

thank you, that is all

Buying Map Packs after what happened in Reach seems pretty foolish.

343 should adopt the free to play mentality and simply throw in new armor or weapons, skins, ect, with those free map packs and charge instead for personal player content. Now the maps are filled with players from the initial title launch and those who want new content for their Spartan models are acting as billboards for Microsoft.

i’ve learned my lesson after what happened with reach’s final playlist update, the funny thing is that more people bought the Halo 1 remake than the noble and defiant map pack combined yet they still removed anniversary btb. i’m not buying Halo 4 dlc unless they restrict some of the playlists.

Couldn’t you possibly put all the DLC into a single playlist?

Believe it or not, the DLC maps actually come up quite often in regular MM unlike previous Halo games.

True. I’ve played BTB, (so more players), and I’ve had the Crimson maps come up often.

This would probably be the best answer. Having multiple playlists for DLC will leave them with fewer numbers in each one, but combining them all into one would allow for people to only have to go to one place.

343i’s affinity with fewer playlists would also suggest this.

If I had to guess, my money is on this.

but I like playing Shatter every other game. It’s ridiculously good for high scoring vehicle games and sniping
