Crimson Maps too similar?

Is it just me or do the Crimson maps (in regards to pure aesthetics) look mostly too similar to some of the maps shipped with the game?
Harvest looks very much like Compound.
Wreckage is along the same lines as Exile, just with more scrap.
Shattered is nice, save for the bland UNSC architecture here and there (which we have enough of already).

What we really need are some Covenant-themed maps to liven up the Map selection, because although Forge World is gone we still play in a lot of gray environments.
That, or something else distinct from the current visual trend.

Thoughts?

I just want to say one thing.

I’m glad I did not purchase the LE or MP.

Very much agreed with you, on all points.

What we need is a local only search option. Without it, the map pack won’t be bought outside US.

Pretty garbage when compared to Halo 3’s heroic map pack. It also became free in April 2008!

  • Standoff
  • Rat’s Nest
  • Foundry

These 3 maps were a lot better than what we have now.

These maps are garbage, the entire trailer just showed vehicles. We need small maps…

Honestly the best thing they can do is just remake Guardian, Lockout, and The Pit and release it in another DLC

What is compound?
