I have to say, after playing the Crimson Map pack, I’ve found that I prefer these to many of the new ones. They are very well crafted, and the inclusion of a Mantis is welcomed by me!
Extraction is a very interesting game type and I think it fits the Halo theme well; you guys made it very fast paced and I love how the maps can cater to many different types of modes.
Job well done! Can’t wait to try out the other map packs

Is it free? Because I saw it said that the transaction for it was 0 Microsoft Points, and I do not recall buying the season pass. If so, I guess this was a freebie after all the hate threads on this forum to hopefully make it up. Plus the economy today…
The maps are a good size and the game modes are good. But, as others have commented, I don’t think that I will like it as much when it goes to Halo 4 style playlists. One of the good things about the DLC playlist is the variety built into 3 maps and a bunch of game types.

I just became aware of this glich, I don’t know if it is still happening as I have the SP, so I assumed it WOULD say free for me.
Great maps!!! I just played Wreckage and got 14 kills alone from an AUTOMATIC weapon. I thought people were going to be spamming DMR like crazy, but on that particular map, I saw many people with storm rifle, AR and suppressor. Love to use Close range guns.

there is a challenge for AR weapons right now that’s why you’re seeing many people with em’
as for the maps i really like em, they have a good rounded feel to them that makes halo a lil bit more fun. the one feature i really like that should have been added with the normal maps is the rotational gametypes along with the maps, at least it makes people choose diff map each game end, instead of one map (Ragnarok) everytime

Oh yeah man, CQC weapons rock on these maps, I’m excited to use my Suppressor so much more, great gun.
Sorry but I have difficulties enjoying a free map pack I wasted my money on.

Despite the problems of release, these maps are great. I look forward to the next two packs now (LE owner here).
Got two achievements on my very first game which was on the map Wreckage: ODST and killed a player while airborne from a Man Cannon - actually got a double kill with a nade in king of the hill with it being a hail mary LOL). The other was Special Delivery (killed an enemy with melee when landing from a Man Cannon).
Back on topic, the sounds in the maps are great and I like how the water actually sprays into the air wen it hits the rocks on
