I bought halo 4 at GameStop and they sold me a map pass for $24.99 that put a ode on my receipt
I was having no problem playing crimson maps until last week There was a Xbox update and then I got a message “unable to validate”. I called 18004myxbox and went through a bunch of bs for 3 hours and they could not fix the problem. They said 343 industries was second party vendor and game stop was a third party vendor so they could not help me and said that I should go on 343 fourums and let them know. I hope this is the right place to contact 343 because I have been searching for a while
The email that is linked to my gamer tag is no longer valid.
Microsoft is the stupidest company on the planet
Not only do you need to fix this problem but you need to credit me $25
Sincerely
Dave
did you actually input the code on the receipt or did you download the map packs off the marketplace for free.
if its the 1st one, try redownloading the map packs from your download history.
if its the 2nd one, thats because MS messed up and they put out an update that took away all the free map packs given out last week.
Well just the other day 343 patched the game so people who downloaded the Crimson Map Pack free wouldn’t be able to play it anymore and would instead have to buy it off the marketplace. It’s entirely possible that because you purchased the code from Gamestop and didn’t buy it off the marketplace, your code may have been caught up with the free download.
Just a theory, I could be entirely wrong. Anyway hope it gets worked out for you.
first make sure you have infinity actual kit on your download history.
after that delete the crimson mappack off your hd
then goto halo4 ingame menu
xbox live marketplace which should have a star
and then the crimson mappack will be queued
always read the code’s instructions
download from the ingame menu not the dashboard
