So, I have 2 achievements yet to unlock for the Crimson DLC. The one with the mantis stomps, and an airborne warthog kill. Now, once again 343 put in map specific achievements and removed the only playlist for consistently playing the maps you payed for. So, I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice on how to run into the Crimson maps more often. BTB seems to be where I have the most luck, but no one ever votes for the DLC maps. So, I was wondering what playlists show the most DLC, or anything I could possibly do to have these maps show more. Or if anyone has any advice on getting the airborne warthog kill, that would be great too.
To get the airborn warthog kill you need to get into the passenger seat and melee the driver (twice should kill him) while in midair - thats the easiest way.
As for getting dlc maps that will be hard - your best bet is to find friends (or people who dont have the achievements) and band together to vote for the dlc maps
Yea, I was thinking of getting some friends together and going for them, but not many people I know play this game anymore. Let alone have the maps, so it’s a pain. I was just going to no life the DLC playlist and eventually get them, but so figure history repeats its self and 343 feels the need to take it away.

So I’m not imagining things. They actually did pull this dumb move and remove the DLC as a playlist. Thanks. Soon as I get the Map Season Pass they pull this -Yoink-. Great.
I’m pretty sure you have to be in the playlist (not the map) in order to get the achievement to unlock.
Hopefully with the majestic playlists, you will be able to unlock these crimson achievements (kind of like how it worked in Halo 3). 343 will have to allow some type if means for us to complete our achievements.

Not true, it is map-specific, not playlist specific.

I had to actually be in the Crimson DLC playlist to get the Mantis stomps achievement. That was the only way for them to count for me.
I imagine now with the Majestic map pack dropping soon, it will slim down my chances even more. I really hope they just throw in a DLC playlist at some point that includes all the map packs in it, or something of the sort. It’s really irritating that i spend money to only be able to play these maps for a few weeks after their release.
And yea that would be cool if the achievements stacked onto the next map pack, like Halo 3 did. I doubt 343 would do something like that though. They seem to prefer to encourage boosting for your achievements.
Your best bet is to go into Big Team with a full team. That way you’ll probably get the DLC maps if they come up.
Yea, Big Team seems to have the most appearances of DLC. I just don’t know enough people that have the DLC, yet alone still play this game.
Surely they would add the playlist back in the future?
This is a big problem at the moment. I play halo 4 big team slayer all day.
The crimson maps dont come up.
Those who say it come up often are full of sh**.
They need to do somthing for the pepole that wants to play the
maps or get the achievements on them.
I got all my achievements.
But 5 off them didnt show on waypoint or xbox.com.
I did delet my profil and downloaded it again.
So i have to do the 5 achievments again : (
Im just want to tell those who has this problem.
On a forum it said from a monitor that they try to fix this.
So dont do what i did.
