Ok, Last night I got the following achievements before xbox.com was updated with all the new achievements:
Special Delivery
David and Goliath
Pump Yer Brakes
Size Is Everything
Clay Pigeon
ODST
I then signed out of live just before xbox.com got updated, Once I got back on all of the achievements I earned was gone. I tried recovering my profile which didn’t work.
I was very pissed off but I thought “You know what, Fine. I’ll just earn them again, Not that big of a deal.” I have managed to re-earn everything apart from Size is everything, I have got well over 20 machine gun turret kills and yet I still don’t have the achievement…
Yeah there’s problems with this and bigfoot… also i have problems with Special delivery, i did it in diferent ways and nothing like charge plasma pistol/shoot before landing and melee at land/enemy die and nothing.
I think they’re all fudged up… I got ODST and Pump Yer Brakes last night while jumping and throwing two stickies at a mantis, the dude walking next to the mantis died from the explosion, but the mantis didnt blow up… today I was playing COTH and during the initial cluster-f, I ran in and started slapping people around, me and an enemy ended up doing a double pummel (both dying, but mine showed a kil from the grave) and bam Special Delivery???

Yes exactly the same happened to me with Special Delivery and I was like What?. I even went to the theater and check what have happened but neither me or he were even close of the Man Cannon.
My conclusion is yes, this achievements are kinda glitches, yet Special Delivery is the only one I get a weird issue.
Only ODST is glitchy. I’m just working on Now They Fly? And I’m trying not to glitch. I’m just going to get a rocket kill from the passenger seat going off a jump
i completed 4 achievements and xbox has them but not waypoint -Yoink!- me off maybe i just wont bother with waypoint if they wont give me achievements i dunno if anyone knows y i would like to know thanks and big foot you have to jump on the mantis and give it the crushing blow like it says not grenade it

false “special delivery” is glitched too…poped outta nowhere… as for the hog achievement i think you need to be on the turret…the other day i earned a splatter while airbourne on harvest…no blipblop :c
For me Pump Your Brakes is not working. I did this before I got the boarding achievement. It unlocked and shows up when I go to compare games but does not show in my total. Does anyone know if they are working on it? I feel silly for being mad about this but what is the point of achievements if you do not enjoy getting them and having the proof? An ambassador xbox person told me to re-download my profile but from what I have read that does not work. I am hoping there will be an update next week taking care of all this. I am loving the game but there have been a lot of issues so far and it is starting to spoil my experience.
