So I just finished playing some of the Crimson DLC playlist (non LE player here) and while playing I unlocked several of the new achievements without actually performing the required tasks.
I got two of the man cannon achievements without going anywhere near a man cannon, and the other two mantis achievements I unlocked legitimately.
HOWEVER these achievements have NOT added to my total gamerscore for Halo 4. It recognises I have unlocked the achievements but my gamerscore is still at 940 for some reason.
If you care about the achievements I would recommend not playing the DLC until this whole fiasco is sorted out.
It wasn’t added to your gamerscore total because the achievements aren’t actually up on xbox.com, that’s why you can’t see the DLC achievements at all if you haven’t already downloaded the map pack.

Oh I see. So will they be added to my total when they appear on Xbox.com ? Or is it permanently stuck like this?
Your gamerscore will be correct as soon as the achievements are added on xbox.com. Why they don’t already have them up when the achievement list has been out for almost a week now, and when this is arguably Microsoft’s biggest game of the year is anyone’s guess.

Now theres just the small matter of the achievements unlocking randomly throughout the game.
I have 56 of 57 achievements and my gamerscore is still 1000. So are the achievements still not on Xbox.com It’s saying I have 49 of 57 when in reality, I don’t.
