So I decide to play some Halo 5. I load up that game and I check my REQs and see that they’re working, so I hop onto Warzone Firefight. I get into a match on Stormbreak, and a player just stood in place and fired his AR for a few seconds. I didn’t think anything of this. In fact, I just blamed it on whoever had the controller. Anyway, I played the game until about round three, which was an eliminate Serpent Hunters round (3 pairs of 2). We got to about the third hunter and killed it, and then my game screen froze. I was returned to the lobby, with no selectable options, nothing but the background and some button options (start for Spartan Hub, X for friends, etc.) Now this is the part that creeped the -Yoink- out of me. Someone… breathing started to play, and it was loud. It was a male breathing, like he just got through running or was hurt and trying to recover. And it didn’t stop until I did something related to exiting the game. I tried to do what I usually do to get out of the lobby and find a recent player to spectate, but other than me, the only other “player” was a blank emblem, offline, not spectacle, with the name of “…”. I ended up quitting Halo 5, and restarting the game. I haven’t encountered anything like this beforehand, or after the first time. If anyone’s ever seen something like this, please reply and tell your story.
If I was to guess I’d say it was an audio glitch that Halo 5 seems to have a lot of mostly in the campaign which happen when i die or when boarding a vehicle, the sound of that vehicle or weapon or whatever keeps playing over and over so maybe it was one of the hunters sound effects that had glitched and somehow kept playing after the game was over but other than that i have no idea that’s kind of creepy
Once my friends and I were playing and we were waiting in the menus,and it started making a tapping sound.At first I thought it might have been my sister or mom but it didn’t stop and I definitely didn’t open my door lol.Turns out it was something messing up.I don’t remember except for my friends wouldn’t stop saying Jason was coming for me lol.Oddly enough they didn’t hear it.
After a match a couple times I heard a guy like grunting in background I didn’t know what to think of that, it stopped but it has happened a couple times.
My favorite is after a match of customs on rare occasions you can hear your Spartan grunting for almost a minute when your in the customs lobby.
Interesting, maybe that’s what I’mhearing.
This one time…I put my headphones on…and I was in the REQ Store, and I swear, someone named Reed or Spenker or Spencer, kept whispering “Buy…gold REQ packs…” and I was like hey who is that!? And it’d stop for like a match or two…but the moment I’d go into the REQ store…it’d come back, sometimes stronger! I literally saw my controller move itself to the “Confirm Purchase” button before I pulled the cord on the `Box…some kinda voodoo power at work there.
A couple months back, early morning might have been around 4 am, me and my buddy was just getting ready to call it a night. I backed out to the lobby and every time I would go up or down the playlist, instead of the normal clicking sound. I would hear a very low cough coming through my turtle beach heaset(it was clear as day). At first I was like is there someone in my party? Check party I’m the only one in there. So I exit the party. It was still happening. I didn’t freak out or anything but it was very bizarre.
Well once i was playing a WZ match i was done and got to the req station then i heard female robot voice saying that something is damaged on a spaceship it really freaked me out
Same thing happened to me just now but didn’t give the option to leave the lobby
This could be a new creepypasta.
Could be two things, a weird game crash glitch, or you witnessed the dying soul of Palmer’s victims…
That actually happens to me a lot after I finish Warzone Firefight. Most of the time it will be an Elite grunting.

I remember finishing a game of FF and when I backed out to the Warzone playlists, I heard Elites grunting… THAT UNCOMFORTABLE SOUND HAUNTS ME
