Every now and again, I get “creepy players”, who just come right up to you, and stare. If you move around, they will still look at you, and sometimes follow you. I don’t know if it’s our Spartans falling in love, or if they’re just admiring the armour, but either way, it’s a bit weird. Anyone else get them?
“You sure got a purdy visor. What’s a spartan like you doin’ in a map like this? You gotta tinder account, handsome?”
There was a match where one of my teammates was constantly standing behind me. Probably staring at my spartan’s -Yoink- or something.
I stare all the time while capping bases bc there is no other way to view other people’s armors bc the lobby system is trash.
One time I had some spartan meleeing me and staring at me. I assumed he wanted my DMR, so I picked up an AR off the ground, but apparently he just wanted to punch me and stare at me.
Sometimes I’ll look at someone for a second or two, crouch a couple of times, and go on my way.
I will look at peoplle when I’m thinking “Wtf are you doing”.
Oh yeah. I get that a lot. Mostly they stare at my armor crotch. Dunno why.
This is a different scenario than what you’re describing but speaking of creepy players:
Guys send me messages all the time because my Xbox avatar is a hot looking girl who looks like she isn’t wearing pants (very short shorts).
A girl I was uh, “seeing” made my avatar look like her & I left it for lulz
Guys send me messages all the time trying to talk to me… Some people on this very forum are guilty of it too

If I call in a weapon, like the Blood of Suban, people just stare and follow me until I die. Then they pick up my gun… this is why I don’t have friends. ;-;/

I think guys will message any account with a female avatar lol. I had the same issue till I changed my avatar once h5 launched. I’d go recruiting for my community and I’d get right hate mail or guys trying to flirt with me over Xbox live lol. Quite funny. I’d play along sometimes, but once we got to play a game they were gone after hearing my voice.

^this is hilarious
I don’t stare at people, but I melee a lot of walls. Especially the metal pipes/walls on top of armories. I love hitting those when i’m capping an armory and hearing the “clang” sound. one time we had like 5 spartans doing it at the same time. It was so funny.
About a couple months into playing, got into a game some guy was talking about how nice the female Spartan -Yoinks!- looked… kept going on and on about it. Think he followed around someone that had theirs chosen as one and checking it at while talking about it. Not sure if that qualifies as creepy.

I get this sometimes too, especially since I got the Helljumper helmet pretty early on. Pretty armor is pretty. But mine usually doesn’t last too long.
When I am capping a base in WZ and there is no threat I will melee people and crouch up and down and stare at them until the job is done. It’s mostly just a “Hey, what’s up?” kind of thing. I’d bet most of the people doing this are harmless.
Anyone have video of this happening?
I love this weird halo language. Somebody died in our armory last night on ARC and dropped his Blaze of Glory. I held it for him and when he came looking I dropped it and shot it. He picked it up, looked at me, and we both instinctively did a little -Yoink!- dance of respect lol.

You have to say this in a low(whisper like), deep southern voice with a monotone pitch. also don’t forget the long pauses after each period and heavy breathing.
I only look at people when they have an armor piece I want, if avaplaya was in my game, I would stare with my derpy Nightfall helmet at his Helljumper helmet… you would be lost in my large round visor… tell me… when did you receive the helmet?
