I’m currently at tier 35 of the battle pass with no skips. At this rate I will finish the Battle Pass waaaay earlier than May 2022. That is, unless Halo Infinite’s campaign, Elden Ring and/or other games make me give a long break to grinding the Battle Pass, but I digress.
Currently, there are no incentive to keep grinding XP after you reach tier 100, but how about rewarding your most faithful players with a small allowance of credits each time they level up past tier 100?
Let’s say, 50 credits per level, so that by the time I reach tier 120 I can pay for the next Battle Pass or buy a nice looking cosmetic at the store without spending real money? I know, I know, you guys want that sweet real money
, but you also want to keep people engaged, rather than losing them to Fortnite after they have nothing else to look forward to once they completed the Battle Pass by mid February or so.

its possible, I don’t think they planned for people to complete it that quickly…which given how some people’s sole reason for playing is for completing the battle pass seems…redudant

There are people already at tier 100 with more money than brains though. If people are already buying credits, what incentive would 343 have to make them obtainable for free? They already backtracked on a lot of their original promises probably after realizing how much money could be made from buying cosmetics.
They should just throw more reach armor in the BP. They’re selling reach armor in the store right now for $7…

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it costs 200 credits to skip a level, whereas I’m proposing a reward of 50 credits for each level past 100.
So if someone spends 19,800 credits in order to go from level 1 to 100, he would need to reach level 496 in order to break even.

Again: why would 343 give credits for free— even at max BP level— when people are already paying for them? 343 would still want you to fork more money over rather than giving even a single credit after every level past 100. Plus, look at how they dealt with season points in the Master Chief Collection. They hard-capped season points after level 100.
To keep people engaged, playing Halo Infinite everyday until the next season pass drops.
Otherwise they may go give Fortnite or CoD Vanguard a try.
It’s happening already. Everyone demanded faster progression. Now people are realizing that they’ll “have no reason to play” after they’ve maxed the pass in just a month or two.
