For some reason, whenever I hit 120k ~ 200k credits from custom challenges I stop recieving credits from playing games.
FOr example, Today I just finished a game of MLG the score was 50 to 47, we won, It said I earned 15,000 credits from the slot machine which is the jackpot and my total credits didn’t go up or down, it stayed the same. I’m losing so many credits because of this broken system.
Sometimes I would even lose 30k ~ 50k credits after a few games. How is it even possible to lose that many credits without even spending it.
343i, you need to fix this as soon as possible. I’m not sure if I’m the only person who’s having this sort of bugg but it’s slowing my progress in ranking. If it’s even possible, monitor everything I do on Reach and you’ll see that I don’t even gain credits.
This also happened yesterday and I’m losing so many credits because daily challenges, game completions, and jackpots are registering to my total credits.
If anybody has a suggestion on how to fix this or if they’re having this problem just comment below.
EDTI: Apparently you don’t get notified when you earn credits anymore and the custom challenges count towards your credit cap.
I haven’t hit the credit capp if I’ve gotten passed 120k credits. And you can’t even hit the credit cap from custom challenges.
Also when your credit capped it says you recieved 0 credits each game, it shows the amount of credits I’m earning each game that finishes but It doesn’t count towards my total credits.

You can still hit the Cr Cap using Custom Challenges. First, you stop earning Cr you made in matches. Then, it starts taking away Cr.
Then how come when I change my timezone to a different day I’m still not allowed to earn credits. Explain that.
Whenever I changed my timezone from earning credits and hitting the cap just from playing games and not custom challenges I’m notified that I’ve hit the credit cap and I can change my timezone to remove that cap.

You hit the cap. Period. Keep wasting your time playing for nothing and arguing with correct answers. You probably maxed, changed time zones and maxed again. Resulting in you not being able to get credits for a day or two. If 343 wasn’t such a shady company, we would have upped credit caps like promised. Rather, they say nothing about it.

I didn’t max changed time zone, cute attempt though.
The reason why I pointed out that I change my time zone is so that it proves to you that should be earning credits.
When your credit capped you will earn 0 credits every game. I’ve been credit capped before. Now that I’m using custom challenges I’m able to see the amount of credits I’m earning but doesn’t add up to my total.

Does it take away cr`? Thats just stupid. punishing player that wants to play the game. It isn like I get anymore when i cant after the cap

You cant be banned for chaniging timezone. All you do is earn cr towards the next day
I doubt it takes away credits. I honestly doubt that he knows what he’s talking about. Since when did 343 start taking away 30k credits from people. That’s like 15 ~ 30 games played for nothing depending on how much credits you earn per game.

Wait. Before you said it went from 66k to 65k and now your saying they took away 30k…

What the hell are you talking about? If you read the thread properly it said I’ve lost 30 ~ 50k credits without even spending them. Where’d you get 66k and 65k from?

That was either yesterday or the day before that. What happened is that when i played a game I earned 1,xxx credits and instead of my credits going up, the credits I earned that game made me lose 1,xxx credits from my total credits.
Today though, I was at 230,000 credits and I didn’t spend any of it and I went straight to 200,000 credits when I went off and came back on.
That probably confused you, but in the end, I’m still losing credits.
Maybe they just took away the credits you earned when you tried to bypass the credit cap. BTW the credit cap is reset according to 343’s time zone, not the one on your XBox.

I highly doubt that is true. The reason for me saying this is because last week I’ve gotten credit capped and was notified with that black message popping up saying “Online Credit Limit Reached” and I could change my time zone so that I could go to the next day and continue earning credits from that same day.
This is different for some reason though, I’m not getting notified or anything, and changing my timezone won’t help.
The only options I see are:
343industries has manipulated the credit cap some how.
Changing time zone wouldn’t help because it’s easier to set it so everyone resets at midnight their time than every hour x amount of people get reset and everyone else doesn’t. Why do you think the challenges don’t change every hour depending on your timezone? Because they are linked to 343’s timezone just like the Credit Cap.

I can take away credits. If you’ve hit the cap, quit playing, and then some custom challenges complete they can boost your daily total past 120K. If you then play Reach later the same day (just launching seems to be enough), the system will remove the credits over 120K. It happened to me yesterday when I launched Reach to watch a film in Theater.
Of course all this could change at any time if they finally implement the increase in the credit cap they promised.
