Do you guys think the 200,000 credits a day limit ever be lifted or made higher?
I thought it was 250,000 now? Might be wrong, and no I think 200k - 250k is fair.
> Do you guys think the 200,000 credits a day limit ever be lifted or made higher?
I should never have been there in the first place. If I want to play all day and rank up quickly, I should be able to. I understand I can still play without earning credits, but would you go to work for free. Reach is the only game that does something this rediculous. When it was raised from 120,000 I was actually hoping 343 was just removing it. There is a method to the madness I guess. I just don’t understand that logic though.
> I thought it was 250,000 now? Might be wrong, and no I think 200k - 250k is fair.
It’s still 200,000.
They should just remove it. I hit it 4 days in a row legitimately and was surprised at how easy it was. So why constrain players who have the skill and ability to reach the cap? Why have a cap? They must just be to lazy to actually monitor Reach for people who find glitches and exploit them… So they just put a cap.

Well, in all honesty neither skill nor ability are really needed to ever reach it, just time enough to play enough games. One could just as easily reach the cap just spawnkilling on Griffball as someone that gets top rank on MLG or arena every game. & for me, 800+ hours logged in trying to rank up to inheritor is enough, but in addition to all the time I’ve already put into the game right now if I hit the cap every day without fail at the earliest I’ll hit it by June 13, so for me i’d just be happy to remove the cap, spend a few days (not every day for another month) dsignatoring the crap out of Oni, get Haunted, and then spend the rest of my time between now and 4 simply enjoying playing the game…maybe trying to up my K/D ratio a bit before 4 comes out.
Of course, if they don’t remove it by mid June, it’ll be a moot point for me.

I hit the cap in about 5 hours everyday. So I dont have that much time on my hands. So the cap needs to be removed. It is an insane restriction
I agree with Seven it is a ridiculous thing, they should’ve just removed it or made it higher i can’t even rank up once in a few days because of it. Having a credit cap is honestly kind of stupid in my opinion it just is making me take way more time to rank up than the i need to actually rank up. I hate hitting the credit cap too cause then i dont even wanna continue playing
> I hit the cap in about 5 hours everyday. So I dont have that much time on my hands. So the cap needs to be removed. It is an insane restriction
That seems more like a reason to keep the cap. If you were hitting the cap in only a couple hours of mm then that’s an insane “low cap”
There shouldn’t be incentives to play more than 5 hours.
20,000,000 to get inheritor. 200,000 daily limit. You only need to hit cap 100 times/days… Even at half speed, 200 days is less than a year.
I don’t think they’re going to change it because it’s only a few more months until Halo 4, so it wouldn’t make that big of a difference.
I personally think they have the credit cap to encourage people to do other things than just play Reach all day. Once they hit the cap, they’re more likely to stop playing Reach and go and actually do something else with their life that doesn’t involve video games. Believe it or not, there actually is more to life than Halo.
I dont play all day. I am 15 and come and play Halo after school and extracurricular activities. So I come home and hop on Reach until I go to bed. Which is like 10:00pm. So if I hit the cap, I have nothing to do for a while but watch T.V. Which is less envolved than Halo.

I don’t see that as possible. You would be a much higher rank than me because I think I hit the cap only twice. Judging by how you’ve been playing longer than I have… Even if you had 100,000 every day you would be inheritor long time ago. I’m guessing you got rank reset/ credit banned often?

No. Non of that. I just found out about custom challenges about two weeks ago and have been using them
So I have just recently been hitting the cap. Plus I rarely play anything but MM. No Firefight or anything like that so I get less credits…
Well Seven, you only have about 7,648,000 more credits till you’re done. You’ll be an Inheritor in less than 40 days, if you hit the cap 38 and a half times…
I don’t see any reason to think this cap is unreasonable. Does it punish people that play past the cap? I would be against any punishment for playing past the credit cap but I don’t support adding incentives (increasing the cap) to play over extended periods of time (longer than 4 hours)

I know I dont have that much time to go… But on weekends I could cut that in half if I played enough. I just dont see why you would want to restrict people with time on their hands from getting credits. My friend practically baths in money (filthy rich) and doesnt need a job. So he can play hours on end but after he hits the cap, thats it for him. So why not just let people who can play all they can?
One question though, what chellenges do you use to hit the cap playing so much griffball? I barely make about 110,000 in swat challenges. I guess it would take me close to 6 hours to hit the cap… so thats kinda fail. Any tips?

I made myself specific, I thought. I am saying DO NOT PUNISH(ristrict play) but I am against putting INCENTIVES(rewards) to play longer than 4 or 5 hours.
> So why not just let people who can play all they can?
He can still play, so he just chooses not to because there is no incentive (because cant earn credits) so that sounds like its not a problem to me. If credits is the only reason he doesnt play longer than I see that as a good thing he is getting off. If a person still wants to play, they can play. so “So why not let just let people play” has no meaning to me.

750 medals in MM
500 kills in MM
Time: 3 hours
