I just finished playing Reach few moments ago. I got around 20.000 cR after midnight and this morning around 80-85.000 cR. It didn’t show up the message of credit cap reached but after last multiplayer match my cR decreased a bit… and i got -blam!
Does anyone has experienced something similar? I think things go wrong… this need to be fixed.
The whole debacle makes no sense to me. It can’t be that difficult to do, and if they had any sense they would have had everything in place to make it happen before they made an announcement promising it.
It’s kind of insulting to us, their customers, that BS Angel posts other stuff while completely ignoring this after promising it last week. In fact, as far as I can tell they haven’t said anything about any of the problems people have been complaining about in these forums. Not this, not co-op lag or other problems in Anniversary, nothing about problems signing in here or accessing the Reach server.

We know that it is certainly possible to change the cap, since Bungie changed it from 60K to 120K, without a TU. So the cap must be on the server side and hence, as you say, it should not be difficult for them to change.
So far i have earned well over 150k cR and no msg about credit limit reached yet. But my rank is so high now (1/3 to Reclaimer) that my exp bar dosent move and my cR dosent get added for my total amount of cR, so it gets hard to track how mutch i actualy have gained today.

I hit the cap about 6AM this morning, but I never saw a message saying I’d reached it. But at the end of the game during the credit summary the credits awarded on the left were no longer changing the total on the bottom right. Thanks to 343 keeping us completely in the dark on this it’s entirely possible the cap could be raised at any time, so what was the case at 6AM this morning may not be the case now. That said, I’ll believe it when I see it for myself.

WTF i did hit the cap to apparently but i never got a ingame msg about it as i used to get, i thought the game had some issue to count my cR but it was actualy the cap at 120k. It’s a new day now for me thats why i was like WTF my cR is adding up

The total for today (9th december) was still 120k cr. I just finished it, and i actually always write down my starting and ending CR to be sure there’s no mistake in what i do.
But yeah, ever since last monday, you no longer get the “you have reached the online credit” message anymore. Once you get over 120k, you see a symbol with + XXXX CR, and then that gets added to the total CR in the bottom right. But instead of increasing, nothing happens: that means your at the cap for the day.
Idk why 343 even cares about credit limits it doesn’t do anything besides give you a false rank and armor.
Don’t know if this is a surprise, but I just got a 15555 slot machine in SWAT. Also, after tallying my credits for today, I’ve gotten 164416. However, a lot of that was from Custom Challenges, and I’m not sure if that counts towards the cap or not.

Yes still 120k cap. And no news.
I rarely reach the credit limit. However, I think 343 should allow for a little more transparency in regards to when (and by how much) they plan to effect the limit’s increase. I have thanked the original post, and I have also tagged this thread as a favorite; perhaps if we bring enough attention to this general topic/issue, it will reach the right eyes and we will get more insight into 343’s plans for the credit limit.
Yeah, it is. I have only hit it one time, and by the time you hit it the 24 hour period is almost up anyway so your stats will start counting again.
