What are you doing to get 250K plus?
I will also mention that custom challenges are now paying out almost immediately after challenge turn in. No more waiting 3 hours.

WOW…nothing would make me happier as to hear an OFFICIAL word about this very touchy subject…
I have been reading several post and threads here and on B.net, and there is a lot of mixed info out there, from both side of the fence, and from MANY form goers claiming it’s gone, and others saying they hit the pop again, but at 250k, along with Custom Challenges having been changed.
So…Where is the OFFICIAL word from the people in charge??? Link it up and let’s get er done…

I’m still doing it now. The only difference is that I don’t have to wait 3 hours any more for the credits to pay out.
But i thought someone said the cap is now 200K so how u going over this if they are paid straight away?

It’s possible you have only gotten farther because you have played matchmaking today. I only did custom challenges and capped at 200,000, then I did like 20 challenges after and got no credits. I think they may have a custom challenges cap or something. I am going to try again just to be sure, but this happened to me like 2 hours ago.
Ok. Update. I earned a total of 300,000 CR in custom challenges, and just now had 100,000 CR deducted from my in game credit total. The cap has been raised to 200,000 and custom challenges do pay out almost immediately. What I’m trying to figure out is WHY the cap wasn’t removed all together. I appreciate 343 raising the cap, but they should have removed it. I apologize for any inconvenience, and will update the thread accordingly. Shut down the servers again 343 and just plain remove the cap already. I will also verify that the 100,000 CR that was deducted is added on to tomorrows totals.

Removing it all together would be silly. People would just use the ONI and get a Million credits in a day etc.
For example. I have a friend I play Reach with. Reach is all i play pretty much. I have just hit Forerunner and he was about a month back Legend. He is now 2.1 Million through reclaimer.
They needed to put a cap on the Custom challenges… Im happy with 200k per day thats still 1.4 Million per week

I suppose you are right. The only problem I have with the cap is that it’s so foolish to limit how much someone can level up in a day. Everyone will make it to inheritor eventually. What’s the difference if it happens now or a year from now. I mean seriously, would you stay at work knowing you would not get paid for the extra hours you put in? I know you can still play, but the same principle applies.

I can see your point also. I guess they have tried to do the right thing for both sides of the Fence.
Good afternoon everyone. I’m following along with an update to yesterday. The extra credits I earned yesterday over the cap WERE NOT AWARDED today. Once you hit the credit crap, any credits you earned over the cap will just disappear into nothingness. I just wish 343 would just REMOVE the credit crap. The commendations still freeze at the cap as well. It almost seems pointless to play after hitting the crap. I’m beginning to get tired of having my video game policed so much. This really needs to be resolved, and quickly if 343 wants the fan base to stick with them. This falls under the classification of “general weirdness” that BS Angel was referring too. So, that’s it for now, I guess.
The cap is 200k, that’s confirmed, the turn-in and getting the cR near instantly is still not confirmed to be a bug or not, I tweeted bs angel a few hours back and told me to wait for an official response on it.
