Alright guys, here are 3 easy Custom Challenges you can set up to get fast credits and rank up with no effort at all. Since that’s the whole point of Custom Challenges, right 343?
All of them are completed in Firefight Matchmaking. You will have to complete them all in less than 3 hours (easy as hell) to get 30,000 easy credits. This is how you set them up:

The first challenge is get 304 headshots in Firefight Matchmaking. You’ll get 10,000 cR in less than 20 minutes.

The second challenge is get 506 medals in Firefight Matchmaking. By the time you complete the first one, you’ll already have 304 headshot medals. Now add up double-kills and killing sprees and you’re good to go. 10,000 cR.

The third challenge is get 759 kills in Firefight Matchmaking. You’ll get another 10,000 cR in less than 2 hours.
Note that the time limit must be set to 3 hours for the best results. You’ll get your normal Firefight credits along with your 30,000 credits. You’ll easily rack up 50,000 credits or more in less than 2 hours if you do everything fast.
The custom challenges will end 3 hours after you set them up, so you can easily set them up 3 times a day for the best results. Credits gained for playing Custom Challenges DO NOT count towards your daily credit limit cap (120,000 cR), so you can earn A TON of cR in a single day.

Edit: Apparently, 343 aknowledged the ease you guys had to boost Custom Challenges, so they nerfed them. My response to this is: LOL. I never liked the idea anyways.

You don’t need any DLC. You just need to have a linked account between your Xbox LIVE profile and this website (Halo.xbox.com)

Has this been confirmed? As in has some one played to the credit cap in regular play then gotten their credits after they stopped gaining regular credits? I haven’t seen any official confirmation from 343i on custom challenge credits being outside the regular daily credit cap.
Anyway, if that is true, you can also turn in challenges to set up the next batch of custom challenges faster. I bet you could grab 5 or 6 set of challenges a day using this method.
And may I suggest a name for the medals challenge? “Better than Michael Phelps!”
I’m pretty sure they don’t count towards the limit, and even if they do, you’ll hit the credit cap faster than ever before with these new Custom Challenges.

Umm…not to look dumb here but how do you get 304 headshots in 20 minutes? That’s like 3 Gruntpocalypse games in Score Attack and I have never been able to finish 3 in 20 minutes

I think it’s easier to get headshots in Gruntpocalypse; I usually get 100+ in that game. In 2x Score Attack I usually get 50.

Play Firefight Doubles and pick Arcadefight. You’ll get 150+ Heashots in a single game.

That’s my concern! If you grab 60k of custom challenges and 60k of firefight credits in two hours, then blam you’d be done for the day. That’s seems like the opposite of what 343 would want to do to get people to play more.

Just play Arcadefight, either doubles or four-player. Pick the DMR/Sniper combo. Begin hedshotting. If you are any good at headshots, the relative ratios of 304 head shots to 759 kills should come about concurrently. Even assuming 50 head shots and 120 kills a game and 20 minute games, you’ll come out with 30k cR in 3 hours. In my experience, I’d be able to pull down those numbers in about an hour and a half.

So I had something interesting happen to me. I got over 120,000 credits from Custom Challenges in the morning, and then that evening I played some more. More than three hours had passed, so the Custom Challenge credits had been added and I had earned more than the credit cap in a single day. However, at the post-game screen of my first game of the evening, the credits I earned made my total count DOWN and the rank progress bar move to the LEFT. I played some more, and it stopped moving to the left when it reached the point that was 120,000 more than my starting total for the day. Basically, I was above the credit cap, so it subtracted the credits I earned until I was at the credit cap.
How do I make custom challenges? There’s nothing for me under “Challenges” at the top other than whatever the dailies/weeklies are and a link to install waypoint on a phone.

So in other words, the custom challenges count UNDER and NOT OVER the credit cap? I think I’m going to try to grab 120k credits tomorrow or Wed and then add custom challenges and see what happens.
Very nice! I’ve been doing 10,000 cR in about 10 minutes with 2 challenges on Campaign using the Target Locator on ONI Sowrd Base, but after a while that gets boring. The 3 FF challenges will be a nice change-up after one of two of my ONI challenges.
Just for fun last night I did Long Night of Solace - 300 Headshots, 300 kills and 300 medals all for 13,692 cR in about an hour on Normal with Black Eye, Tough Luck, Catch, Famine, Tilt, Grunt Birthday and IWHBYD skulls active. Ended with 374 medals, 334 headshots and 388 kills. Had to kill 33 Marines though to keep them from stealing my kills 
I have it confirmed by a friend that the customs <mark>DO NOT</mark> count towards the cR Cap.
