I have been “credit banned twice” (read my ‘Unnecessary Credit Ban’ post) and I was just wondering if the credit bans transfer to halo 4. Or will it start all over because it is a new game. I just have a fear that I will get banned for no apparent reason like the last two times. Please respond 343, I am talking to YOU.
I was wondering that too, I got a ban from walking away from the controller. I have have a bad habit of putting the control down after a game and not coming back.
I don’t plan on buying Halo 4 until I find out the answer or until I know my ban is over. I won’t pay money to have some company tell me features are locked because of what happened in another game. They can duck a box of socks, they have my cash now p.o. !!
What I don’t understand is why num-num came up with a time ban in the first place? The people that are banned obviously are playing for the credits and will stop playing while banned. So that means they are no longer accessible to sell a new map or anything else game related. They should allow the ban to be purchased back and have the amount of credits constantly increase to something like $5 per.
I mean, who the freak cares if some goofy kids try to get the highest levels without purely earning the credits. They have jack pots, so I could win my way to highly levels with just dumb luck.
Anyways, rank over.

Halo 4 uses EXP, while Halo Reach uses credits.
That difference alone would mean that any sort of “ban carryover” would make no sense.
I wouldn’t worry about it.
The reason that I was wondering if there was a so called “ban transfer” was because I have heard that The ranks from Halo: Reach will transfer over to Halo 4. I heard that 343 Industries are adding more ranks that go beyond Inheritor.

Ranks from Halo: Reach will not carry over to Halo 4.
They aren’t adding any new ranks to Halo: Reach either.
