credit and reset question

so im not going to renew my xbox live after it is up in about a week or so but still plan on playing reach offline. i have 2 questions if you would be so kind as to help me out.

  1. how do i actually earn more credits offline? it seems whenever i play a campaign mission i get around 275 credits for completing it (completion of mission is around 229 cr and then anywhere from 10 - 70 for commendations). that seems insanely low. am i missing something?

  2. say i play alot and actually do enough to level up and then get my xbox live back. will i revert to a warrant officer or will i keep my new level? i have so far always had xbox live so my level i am at currently was all online play. will it possibly put me back down to where i am now again?

To answer your questions:

  1. You can still play Firefight offline. Just use the custom options and make a private game.

  2. As far as I’m aware you will revert to a lower rank when you go online again, just not sure what rank it will revert you to.

Once you’ve taken your account online, you won’t be able to earn the amount of credits a strictly offline account earned, gold or no gold.

thanks for the reply snickerdoodle. do you happen to know if i would have my rank reset as well? like if it would go to where its at now or if it would go lower?
