I thought they changed the system that solo players dont play against teams the whole time. Well it doesn’t work. I always play solo and i keep playing against teams so stupid. And the ranking system sucks aswell. Ive been ranked platinum and i have to play against onyx players every -Yoinking!- game… cmon 343 what is this -Yoink-!!
The matchmaking is an absolute joke. I also play solo most of the time and consistently get matched against teams of Diamonds, Onyx or Champions…it’s even worse in doubles when you are teamed up with a silver, bronze or gold player who also tend to have a bad habit of quitting. I’ve now dropped to Gold3 because of unfair matchmaking but still keep getting matched against Diamond and Onyx players…even at Platinum getting matched against players at least 6 levels above you is ridiculous.
It wouldn’t be so bad but on top of the skill gap we also have to contend with crappy servers, poor hit detection and players that blatantly have better connections to the servers as they move faster, shoot faster, shoot whilst clambering, don’t take melee damage, don’t take grenade damage…but I will die instantly with full shields from a grenade or melee.
This game is beyond a joke now.
You people -Yoink- on developers for the matchmaking placing you with teams. I’m pretty sure that I read that the matchmaking system doesn’t guarantee that you will not be place against a team. However, the system will prioritise smaller amounts of people before teams. Not no teams.

My complaint is about being consistently matched against teams of much higher level players. I don’t mind getting put against teams if they are on a similar skill level…for me that’s an accepted part of the risk of running solo.

If it’s consistent and your are being put against high rank teams, they are either using low accounts to bring the CSR down or, the more likely situation, your MMR is crazy high
