Creating Halo 4 - 2.0

I’m going to create a new Halo 4, this means I’m making every gametype but this time with pre-set classes etc…

Also I’m going to place new weapon spawns on maps, spawn time and no personal or random ordnance.

UPDATE:

Currently building a map for this mode but it also supports other modes!

MODE UPDATE:

I’m going to build a new loadout system inspired by Classic gameplay and inspired by Legendary BR’s!

For example:

Primary: Carbine
Secondary: AR

Perks etc aren’t chosen yet but ALL suggestions are welcome!

Well, personally I think the way the weapons were placed on the maps aren’t very good. Also sometimes there are weapons on a map that shouldn’t be there or there are weapons “missing” (weps that would fitthe map)

For example: When playing Legendary BR’s there are rockets on Haven! That is awesome but I miss it in the other modes.

Also playing without AA’s and without Loadouts is also a lot of fun in my opinion and I would love to create a gamemode that fits more to the classic players but without using any mods because that isnt allowed.

So I’m also going to build some classic inspired maps that will fit this mode very well but I will also use some Halo 4 maps like Adrift, Haven, Solace and Abandoned.

I don’t really care it isnt Matchmaking I just want to try something different on Halo 4 and have some fun with it too.

I love forging so it isn’t wasting time for me!

i tested some settings for an actual " classic halo " feeling:

90% resistance
90% shield reload
4 sec. wait time
90% dammage
75% melee
100% speed ( not 110% because of sprint)
90% jump height
75% gravity
125% fall dammage

No AA
No perk

infinity timer: 45-80
personal ordinance: AR/ BR / carbine : 30 points
start weapon : AR
teams: on

Wouldn’t it make more sense with no fall damage? and faster shield recharge?

If you’re going for a classic feel, you might want to have Resupply. And why reduced weapon and melee damage?

you need to include a carbine :confused: very shameful that people think the unsc is the only “classic” things out there.

Currently working on a map for this mode, symmetrical two bases, middle centre with a way under it and a right and left flank with a teleporter that are connected to each other :wink:

Trying to finish it this weekend with a BETA for the mode.

I was thinking about the AR with the Carbine together

I thank the OP for doing this, and would like to play on the maps when they are done!!

You might prefer working solo, but having some other forgers help you would make map building faster and have the possibility of sharing opinions. I’m sure some of the people who already expressed their interest would be happy to assist you.

If there are any people who would like to give some ideas about creating a map or mode I would love to hear them!
