The whole thing about the Created-over-throwing-the-Creators seems to be a recurring theme of the Haloverse,
I wonder how this will fit into the Primorium/Precursor/Flood threat… seen as they experienced the same thing at the hands of the Forerunners.
It’s theorized that since Cortana is linked to the domain, which is a Precursor creation, she has come under a flood logic plague, because the flood are essentially Precursors. So she is rebelling against her creators, much like mendicant bias did before.
