why do people create accounts just for little things that they cant controll or dont do anything for like “I got Banned” “I can upload this to my filshare can you help” or “I cant do this because im helpless” and then they never use there accounts ever again its like WTF? I thought I just bring this up to see what other people felt the same way.
Simple Answer: It’s called the internet.
I notice people do that a lot. They may only pop on a few times but oh well the dedicated members are the most valuable ones.
yea we should give each other hands we are dedicated to make this forum thrive an we will be the remembered ones

Heh…considering you do give a good contribute to the active members around points at your medal

Can I be remembered for Shenanigans? lol
I can see the forums as just a place to gain information. I wouldn’t fault anyone for just wanting a quick answer. I can also understand getting totally sucked in and not being able to leave.
It is just personal preference really.

I understand where your coming from but why create an account for one little answer that may not even get answered and then just abandon the forums and never return because to be honest when I looked at the members on the forums i could say at least 3/4 of them do not use thier accounts. so that means only 1/4 of us are actually active based on a monthly bases

Well, you got me. Some people may like to “lurk” too nothing wrong with that. I know I like to read and reply when I can but others may have other motives for creating accounts. I often wonder how crazy this place would be if everyone posted all the time.

You have got a point there would be well over 1000 post a day if we had another fourth
but it also feels like the forums are slightly getting smaller and smaller for instance today I posted a playdate thread for halo 2 and i said to my self wow people love halo 2 im sure to get alot of replys but so far no one has attempted to sign up and im just scrathcing my head say “What?”
The forums ebb and flow. When the next bit of news hits you’ll see a huge influx of people. Some will stay some won’t. It is just the nature of forums in general.
hopefully more people will notice tommrow and if that doesnt work welll its off to the forum festivites thread
Joke answer: OP, whenever you find yourself asking why people do something weird, just remember that we are on the Internet.
