Basically this is a thread for us the fans to create the one thing that we would all agree on would be a great thorn in our sides. If it be an AI with crazy abilities or an instant in-combat teleporter even a grenade that with energy shield seeking capabilities.
Any thing that would be a great addition but yeah a formidable threat to deal with. Also try to keep your nemesis within reasonable bounds. No SAO Immortal Object stuff going on here.
I have to say, my personal nemesis would probably have to be drones with strong energy shields dual wielding Needlers. Needlers have been my bane since i first played Halo in 2002 and drones quick became hard opponents. Giving them shields like in ODST, with their already high mobility and dual wielding needlers that can supercombine on players would be a fearsome enemy for me to deal with. I know for sure I consider engaging them. I might even completely avoid them if they could melee and throw grenades too.
So, what would your nemesis be?
P.S. I forgot that drones have like six arms so they would be able to throw grenades, dual wield and do a fly by melee all at once. Now that would be a crazy foe.
Flood Carrier-forms that can dual-wield Fuel Rod Guns, teleport, and throw your grenades back at you. When they die, 30+ Drones fly out, all with Needlers that can supercombine.
An insanely intelligent classic gold Zealot Elite with uber strong shields and dual plasma rifles that rapid fire so quickly it’s like a firehose of liquid plasma with an energy sword on the side, that actually charges at you and relentlessly comes to find you when you’re trying to hide. Sound familiar? -_-
Promethean Champion, a large and hard hitting knight. The longer he survives the more minions he summons. So you have to balance retreating and attacking, if you retreat too much you get overwhelmed with enemies, if you engage too much he just wipes the floor with you.
An Overshielded Elite General that is Dual wielding Fuel rod guns… Supported by shielded Grunt Ultras with fuel rod guns… Along with 5 engineers providing another layer of shields to each.
The ‘Heretic’ elites in Reach Firefight were pretty nasty if you turned on the optional skulls that boosted their aim.
I’m gonna say…
*Skirmishers that are shielded or cloaked - or both - with BoltShots thrown into their usual arsenal. And they know how to use the charge up feature.
*Grunts with cloaking, and instead of fuelrods they have Incineration Cannons.
*Jackal Snipers with Binary Rifles
*Active Camo promethean knight with overshields and the ability to assassinate you
*As halojunkie pointed out: Onyx Sentinels
*Numerous Halo 3 Auto-Turrets that all want you dead
*Enemies all packing UNSC weaponary and vehicles. At least two or three Scorpions, a Mantis or two, some Guass hogs, and maybe a Vulture for good measure. Don’t even have to be human enemies - it’s just the vehicles and weapons that matter.

I remember back when i was in the clan named RTS. Our emblem was two dragons wrapped around each other. Friends from my high were made their own yeti group. I went to go see Scott Pilgrim vs the World and in the movie they had a Yeti killing two dragons in a crazy rock band battle.
They never let me live that down. That is why i refuse to allow your yeti idea. jk
