Is this feature in Halo 4? If so, where can they be created? Searched all over waypoint.

They should add it in waypoint
considering that when you look at your challenges in halo 4 it says waypoint challenges most likely they will add custom challenges to the game. But i don’t think they will add it until the mountain dew and doritos double xp event is over at the end of January so that people aren’t making out ther xp in a couple of hours and ranking up way to fast. They want you to actually enjoy playing the game and to somewhat earn your rank.
ok so its march now and ive searched all over bing and google plus the waypoint search engine and now i still cant find anything about halo 4 custom challenges. this is -Yoink!- me off im going to tell everyone i know not to buy halo 4 and im gunna sell mine if this isnt fixed soon. or responded to by 343 or microsoft

Where did they say Custom Challenges would be a part of Halo 4’s package?

Pretty much this, plus it’s incredibly easy to rank up in Halo 4 compared to Reach that you pretty much don’t need the custom challenges for exp.
Custom challenges for xp are beside the point in my eyes. The real reason I am still patiently waiting for them to come up is
A:It does in fact state on the game that it is an option.
and B: to make a fun/hard challenge and see if you can beat it. Alone or with friends.
It’s just fun. I used to do that all the time on Reach and I’m only a Legend. And lastly, who CARES if some loser does it to boost himself. 343 should be able to handle stopping that on their own without making recreational players like myself go without the options of creatively creating my own challenges for fun. That IS why it’s there, I believe. And they let us in Reach, so I have faith 343 intends to do so as well. Patience people.

In no way did it ever say custom challenges will be released, when it says waypoint under challenges that was to do with the -Yoink!- infinity tournament which is why it isn’t used any more.
No…custom challenges do not exist in Halo 4. Personally, it would be a waste, b/c its easy to rank up in Halo 4. Even when you can use SR Rank in Co-Op SpOps getting almost 9,000 to 10,000 xp per mission.
I never could get them to work in Reach.

I didn’t care about credits, I used it as a way to get a record of me doing it. Quite literally, I wouldn’t mind seeing something like this, and you never know, sr130 might get pushed higher if 343i so chooses.
I only ever got 3000 in spops, 6000 with double xp, & that is long gone now, so all those just starting the game, how are they gonna get to Max rank? Seriously, think about it.

True, however, if rank were to increase, i would be expecting more specializations. Personally, i would love to see rank increase, b/c it would basically force me to go back into the game.

They did but that is not a feature in Halo 4 unfortunately.
