Notable Creations
A well-sounding creation that I like the taste of,along with given a breif description and purpose, will be shown here. As with all of the Halo vehicles, perhaps have them named after certain themes. The UNSC were a mix of land mammals, birds and insects, and the Covenant would be from popular spirits from ghost stories. My preferance for new ones would perhaps be mythical creatures of extreme power. Their names would be fitting as the merging of UNSC and Forerunner tech would create in fairly strong vehicles. Hope to hear your ideas!

> HAV-7 Tortoise
>
> The HAV-7 (Heavy Attack Vehicle), nicknamed Tortoise, is a small, single-occupant attack vehicle designed to provide fire support in a multitude of combat situations. Due to its small size it can provide fire support to troops in locations where larger ground vehicles such as the Scorpion tank cannot go.
>
> Despite its rather small size, the HAV-7 is heavily armored and capable of withstanding even a direct hit from a Covenant Wraith’s mortar. This heavy armor comes at a price, however, for the HAV-7 is one of the slowest ground vehicles in use by the UNSC; hence it’s nickname “Tortoise”. Thanks to its treats similar yet only smaller to those used by tanks, rough terrain and elevation aren’t a problem. But it has often been said that a quick Marine could probably outrun the LAV-7 if in a hurry.
>
> Armed with an M68 Gauss cannon, the Tortoise can take out even heavy Covenant vehicles with only a few hits. Due to the vehicle’s heavy armor, however, and to protect the cannon’s firing mechanism, the pilots are limited to firing at targets in a 180° angle in front of them.
>
> The Tortoise is, and always has been, a vehicle not often seen on the battlefield. When faced with the decision to bring in the Tortoise or a larger and admittedly more powerful Scorpion tank, most commanders favor the latter.
Apparition- Lehnaru
> The Covenant Apparition is a single-occupant vehicle that resembles a midnight blue Ghost without wings. It has a concealed reactor tank, and a completely encased pilot seat. Like the Ghost, the Apparition is armed with two plasma cannons. It also has unlimited boosting capabilities, but rather poor armor. Its top speed is faster than any known Covenant ground vehicle, and is doubled while boosting.
>
> The Apparition’s single, high-powered, but silent booster is located at the rear of the vehicle. Its sleek design is meant for speed and stealth. The Apparition is affiliated with the Covenant Special Operations and is used almost exclusively by Elites. It serves for land-based reconnaissance, quick infiltration, scouting, etc. It is extremely versatile and can perform in very difficult terrain; for example, it can climb very steep inclines. Perhaps the Apparition’s greatest asset it its ability to engage Active Camouflage indefinitely. However, at higher speeds, the Camouflage is rendered increasingly ineffective and while firing the plasma cannons or boosting, it is useless.
>
> The Apparition has been nicknamed the Blue Blaze of Death, or simply Blaze of Death or Blue Blaze due to its speed, stealth, blue color, and the blue light it emits and blue plasma it vents while damaged, malfunctioning, or overheating. This can occur even while the vehicle is cloaked, which can be a disadvantage for the pilot.
Widow- DHG Silver Sol
> Purpose/Size
> The Type-16 Light Assault Platform, also known as the Widow. Originally intended as an excavation tool, much like the Scarab from Halo 2,the Widow is a two-man operable vehicle. It is much smaller than the Scarab, around the size of a Revenant while crouching.
>
> Weaponry
> It’s excavation beam has been modified into an Assault cannon seen on many Hunters, and is also equipped with dual plasma cannons seen on Ghosts. It stands on six legs, with black tinted plating. It’s red assault cannon is placed on the top back, behind the pilot’s seat-giving it the name ‘Widow’ as it resembles the dangerous spider encountered on subtropical regions of Earth. The pilot’s seat is placed at the front of the ‘Abdomen’ while the gunner seat is in the ‘Sternum’ behind the dual plasma cannons. The assault cannon fires a steady beam of blue plasma that ignites anything it touches on fire for three-to-six seconds, although it is automatic and requires a lock on,it also has a battery usage of three-to-four shots each. The Widow also locks down when firing, leaving it vunerable unless the gunner seat is occuipied. The gunner is also dependant on the driver,as the plasma cannons can only fire straight ahead, therefore the gunner has to let the driver know where there is a target so he can shoot it.
>
> Defense/Movement
> The top of the Widow is covered by incredibly hard plating,it can even withstand a direct shot from a Spartan Laser, giving protection to the Gunner and Pilot, although this slows it down severly. The underside is also completely exposed which makes it suspectible to explosives, though the distance from it’s underside to the ground is about two feet. It is also prone to being boarded from behind due to it’s slow speed,it can however, turn around at an explicibally fast speed, often surprising would be attackers…It stands at about eight-to-nine feet at full height, giving it around roughly the same height as a Wraith. It moves by a mix of bi-pedal and quadra-pedal movement, much like the Locust. However it’s movement speed is less than half of a Wraith’s normal pace.
