Create a Skull!

Skulls were a great thing to find. They gave you something else to do while playing the campaign, and once you found them you could use them to make the campaign more fun or more challenging. Hopefully 343i will return to the fun times of locating skulls. Equally as hopeful, we can give them some ideas. I’ll include my favourite ones in the OP.

And here’s a couple of my examples:

Gruntpocalypse****I don’t think I brought enough ammo for this…- Triple the amount of Grunts found on a mission.
Found on Long Night of Solace. Outside the map, just as you get to the first battle of the mission, on the beach. The skull is in the rocks towards the water, way up on top of the big rock right behind you, on the little point sticking out over the water.

Slow-Mo****Take your time. You’ve got it.- Character moves at 50% speed.
Found on The Package. Before you enter the room with the 2 Hunters, it’s way off to left where no one goes. In the same area where you start ONI. Except the mission is The Package.

Use that format please, include a skull name (1-2 words), a quote (some thing like: pull the pin. count to three. throw.), and what the skull does.

Hopefully if 343i looks at this, we can possibly give them some ideas for skulls! Be creative, and have fun!

Other half must be recovered by melee or by healing items.

Other half must be recovered by melee or by healing items.

Arms Race-Pick up, reload, and swap.-Players can carry up to 4 weapons, the limit. This is done via select button, which reveals a menu allowing you to replace your currently held weapon with another one that is already in the menu.

Before I provide any additional info, is this for Halo 4 and those Reach skulls of yours were just examples? If it’s about Reach, then how about Halo 3?

Some skulls that I posted in a similar thread on BNet:

Totally knew that was going to happen.

As ugly as a squid-jaw.
Covenant enemies mistake you for a friendly. They’ll talk to you and switch weapons just as Human soldiers do.

Release the Floodgates- Any AI Killed comes back as the flood. Grunts and Jackals become carrier, Everything else becomes Combat forms

Well we can take that pre-order bonus as an official announcement. Since the pre-order skull is completely new, we can assume they’ll probably have an at least semi-new roster of skulls as well.

Create your own.

Mine:
Reach- Sprint activated

Gruntiness- We demand Food Nipple
Every character in the game even you turn into Grunts in colours which suit them. So Marines would be brown Grunts and Elite Minors are blue.

It is found in the Tribute Room

> Before I provide any additional info, is this for Halo 4 and those Reach skulls of yours were just examples? If it’s about Reach, then how about Halo 3?

Yes, I just C/P’d those from ones I posted in the Reach forum. These are ones that you think would be cool to have in Halo 4.

For anyone who played RF Armageddon: Mr. Toots Skull

Reapers Eye: Swords now are on top of a long stick in the stile of a sythe.
It also does damage and is on fire

Speak American! skull- makes all covie dialog human like Halo 2 and 3.

> Speak American! skull- makes all covie dialog human like Halo 2 and 3.

I’m hoping that that’s just the default setting. If it’s not, this skull would be great.

Name:WHAT? What it does: Makes all AI speak gibberish.
How to get:On ONI quickly sprint down to the target locator and it will be there it on a special case that and the skull and the case will disapear (Unless if your’e holding the skull) when Kat comes on the road that goes down to where the target locator is.

What skulls do you want in halo 4? please write the name, and what it will do.

The Jeff Steitzer Skull!

The … Skull
