Title says it all. Create a gametype.
The only rule I have is that the gametype must be original and unique. I’d prefer not to see a classic esque gametype. Think out of the box, I’ll go first.
Fanta Slayer
Description: Slayer with Promethean weapons and armor abilities. All pick ups are Promethean weapons. Everyone is orange. Maps have orange lights sprinkled around too! Everything. Is. Orange.
Carbine slayer. It’s self explanatory: you spawn with carbines as your primary weapon.
I made this gametype earlier today. Here is the rundown:
-No ordnance at all
-50 kills to win, teams enabled
-Friendly fire on
-Carbine, possibly magnum, frags, resupply, ammo/explosives loadouts
-Shields recharge 10% faster to be more like Halo 3’s recharge time
-Carbine is 7sk
I’ll put it up in my file share once I test it and finalize the settings.
Oddball where players score by reaching checkpoints Similar to race. Bonuses are awarded for reaching multiple checkpoints without the opposing team scoring.
2x overshields, no grenades, Beam Rifles for primary. Possible Mobility/Dexterity combo for packages. Slightly increased jump height and player movement speed. Options of Thruster Pack or Regeneration Field for AA. Infinite Ammo (not bottomless clip).
Grifball gametype. Similar to Neutral Bomb Assault (check my file share), only you spawn with Beam Rifles. Comes with 3-bomb and 5-bomb settings.
Oddball gametype. Hold the ball for points. First to 250 wins. Instant Reset on the ball should it hit the ground.
Also would come with a Beams Pro gametype for each of the above said gametypes. Limited ammo, no sensors, no Mobility/Dexterity, no AA. Just Beam Rifles and the Objective.
Start with a Beam Rifle and an Energy sword (basically a covenant version of Shotty Snipers).
LaserBall:
FFA Oddball with a twist; Everyone has 300% movement, low gravity and high jump height. Starting weapon is Spartan Laser. Best played with 16 people on a huge open map (Sandtrap re-make or Vortex are ideal)
Dodgeball:
A FFA kind of hot potato gametype where the first time the ball is picked up it is armed, and the next time it is picked up it explodes. Essentially the ball is thrown at an enemy and points are scored by killing the enemy with the ball. Auto ball pick up, 150% speed, sprint, thruster packs, if the ball sits idle for five seconds it resets.
