It would be really great if 343i would create a special account here on Waypoint that we can report hackers to. Yeah whenever I run into someone with the Protector skin armor and only a few thousand kills I report them via the XBL file complaint option for system tampering but I think a specific account to report these people to would be beneficial. That way you could include the person’s GT, a clip of the match, and the reason why you reported them (i.e. hacked armor or no head). This would avoid calling them out on the forums and would help reduce the number of hackers.
I think it’s rather sad that there ISN’T a way to report Halo hackers specifically. But then, you would think Bungie or 343 or whoever would’ve made something like that by now. Just goes to show you how much the developers care about what happens to the players so long as they can sell their product, at least in my opinion, and I’m sure there are plenty of other people who feel the same. -.- The best I’ve been doing about hackers thus far is reporting them through complaints like you say, but is it actually doing any good? I even save videos of people hacking for the occasion that I am able to report people…
Sounds like a good idea. There needs to be a quicker and easier way to report hackers.
9/10 reporting them through xbl complaints does jack squat lol, but I do it anyways because it’s satisfying to press it xD and better than nothing.
