So I just started a new job, the nighttime engineer for several ships in Seattle and every employee gets an employee I.D. As it turns out, mine is 34359. To remember this, I just thought 343 i.
The 5 represents the space (space has 5 letters) and the 9 represents the “i” which is the ninth letter of the alphabet. I know there is no space in 343i but it was the only way I could make this coincidence work. I always daydream about Halo at work anyhow, but now I clock in with 34359 every night and it gets me thinking about it right from the get go.
So what do you guys think? Is this cool, lame, crazy, or am I just stretching for it to fit what I want it to? And as far as coincidences go I live only 14.5 miles from the 343i headquarters and walked there from my apartment (To prove I could) but was denied entrance.

Make that 11.7 miles and then you would have it complete.

You got me all excited. I checked what the distance was “as the crow flies” but and it was fairly close at 10.31 miles, but that just isn’t close enough 
Looks like I need to move a block farther away.
I had my school ID changed to 000343117
The 000 is a requirement by the college. The rest is all me baby.
