Halo Wars 2 is stuck for better or worse in a two-team mode for play and it does not seem like 343i has a problem keeping it that way. So, I want to build on that with new characters and units based on a concept just outside of Halo lore. They should partner up with Rooster Teeth and give us the Red vs. Blue experience that we as fans deserve.
Imagine using Sarge as your leader to defeat a blue team run by Church (Alpha, Epsilon, Director, or whatever they are calling him this season). All the leader powers and units can be renamed based on jokes from the series. ie: leader powers could be called chupathingy or “You ever wonder why we’re here?” Scorpions would be called “Sheila”. Hero units would be freelancer characters like Tex or Wash.
There are 20 years’ worth of one-liners, in jokes, and stories that could mined for the expansion pack. A mini campaign based on the Meta or the planet Courus would be awesome. They could have maps based on the locations from the series.
As a bonus when you are done fighting with the Project Freelancer characters you could then go and take on the banished as Griff, Tucker or Lopez. A SGT Forge vs. Sarge fight would be epic.
The best part is 343i can use all the existing models for the in-game units and powers. All they would have to do is rename them.
there should be an option on which rvb character that says
supply pad isssssssssss constructed
charcters should say some funny things when you do something even as little as making a supply pad
just to make the game more interesting
I don’t see this happening, but would love it if it did!

Could be interesting, wouldn’t be the first time 343i has teamed up with rooster teeth. Also RvB is only 13 years old not 20, heck halo is just a bit over 15 years old.
