Why don’t the crawlers crawl like they used too in halo 4? All over the walls and trees like they did, I missed that gameplay from halo 4… What’s the deal?
Don’t know. They also don’t carry binary rifles like before either. It let crawlers kill you really fast but it also gave you the option of taking their gun if you successfully defeated them. It was pretty nice.
Maybe there are more advanced crawlers that walk on two legs and they’re called bipedlers.

They are indeed, they just behave differently than they do in Halo 5.
But that’s true, Crawlers don’t crawl around anymore… It’s kind of a shame, since that’s one thing that made them so interesting. Maybe they’ll crawl again in Halo 6?

They were but they performed more like a sniper rifle or beam rifle. They did not shoot a concentrated beam.

They would be pretty OP if they came in swarms with Binary Rifles.

I remember when I was playing Infinity on Legendary. You would have to be quick and kill all the crawler snipers before they got you.

They be like John Cena though… You cant see them
Now that you mention it they really don’t crawl up and down walls anymore, kinda makes the name pointless. I’ve been so caught up killing them I haven’t watched their behavior and would not have honestly noticed until someone pointed it out.
It was kind of earey entering an unexplored are and as your going down the wide stretch of forest you would see multiple crawlers scaling giant trees like squirrels.

Yeah I’m sure they can still claim up forunner building , sort of takes away their name now they don’t do it
343 most likely didn’t program the crawlers to act that way anymore. It was likely another sacrifice they had to make, amongst the myriad of other ones?
