Play Spartan Ops missions that contain Prometheans until you finish the commendation. That will get you your kills, and should help level you up.

You’re 594 crawler sniper kills away from mastery. The Challenge (episode 1, chapter 3) is the best mission for farming. Just headshot the first crawler that spawns then restart the mission. Repeat 594 times. You’ll grow tired of the unskippable cutscene but it’s faster than playing through the entire mission.

But if I go through the whole mission I get about 10 crawler snipers
Restarting after each crawler sniper kill takes about 25 seconds. For 10 crawler snipers you’d have to finish the entire mission in 4:10 to get as many kills in the same amount of time. Judging from your recent game history you’re spending about 10-12 minutes for a measly 6-9 crawler sniper kills. You’re max rank with just this enemy commendation to master so it’s a complete waste of time to finish the whole mission and kill hordes of unnecessary watchers and crawlers.

In way more time. 12 minutes for 9 kills is less than one kill a minute.
25 seconds per kill is way faster.
You came here asking for the most efficient way to farm, and it was given to you. Fun is not a factor in farming.
I did the restart mission method listed above. I would do it while watching something else. It… will take awhile.

What bout the switchback mission that has 3 crawler snipers to kill there
I haven’t farmed that mission so I can’t say but you’re welcome to try and find the fastest method on your own. Time yourself playing the switchback mission. Get 3 crawler sniper kills and take note of the time it takes. Then play ‘the challenge’ for the same duration using the restart method, count the kills and compare the results for yourself.

Well I did and it got me 96 kills in 32 attempts compared to the kill on then reseat would’ve added up to 96 attempts so it seems the switchback mission is better to farm crawler snipers
