Still undecided if this was an Xbox bug or a MCC bug, but have never experienced this in any other game.
Had a very brief ‘Active profile signed out, returning to Main Menu’ screen flash up during a matchmade game.
True to the message, I was instantly returned to the main screen.
Controller was being used wirelessly and did not drop out at any time - battery is very good.
No lag or issues to suggest connection problem, was able to sign back in straight away.
Xbox network connection test passed with flying colours and was showing Open nat immediately after.
Anyone else experienced this?
Ive had this same thing happen to me quite a few times. Literally three days in a row last week.
I’ve had it happen again once since - didn’t manage any video this time, but the failure mode was exactly the same.
- Playing the game (both times H2) as normal - no lag or connection issues
- FPS drop (noticeable in video) - no player warping or anything suggesting net issue
- Ejected to menu as per video.
Did you manage to get any video of yours?
Was it always during H2?
I’ve been playing a lot of Forza and Project Cars 2 in between, and neither have done it once - so, while I can’t be sure, it does seem related to MCC, especially if you’ve had it happen 3x in the same title.
I’ve had this too… very frustrating…
