Crash on startup

halt information:
Module ‘deploy\any\globals\common-rtx-new.module’ failed to load. Read error at file offset: 0x50 (err: 00000057)

This is the error given in the crash report. No idea what this means. Reinstalled drivers and restarted pc

I’m getting the same thing. Using a 1080 Ti.

i got the same issue actually :S, and i’m using a Ryzen Vega 8

i have the same issue. Using a 1660.

There are multiple threads about this issue already. The two somewhat working fixes for some users are-

  1. Disable Windows audio. (Push WIN+R, type “services.msc”, scroll down to windows audio, click “Stop”, IF the game loads you can enable the audio again, but audio bugs were mentioned.)
  2. Changing games files to adjust the graphics card settings on startup. (Navigate to steamapps\common\MGS Test App 6\data\hardware, click on your GPU brand: NOTE you’ll be editing a file so you may need a third party program I use notepad++: push crtl+f, type in your GPU model ie “2060”, change the setting to Low, save the document and close.

Please 343, look into this issue. My whole weekend plans for Halo Infinite is ruined because I can’t even get the game to start. Really disappointing that you all haven’t even acknowledged this issue yet.
