So I came across a crash when you’re scrolling through the various avatars and switch to another tab in the Player ID menus.
I got this by accident, then found some nice steps that’ll reproduce it pretty consistently.
- Advance to the Main Menu.
- Press the Menu button to bring up the Options and Career menu.
- Choose “Player ID”.
- Press Right Bumper twice to tab over to “Avatars”.
- Choose an Avatar as far right as you can. (This seems necessary? I wasn’t able to get it to happen going right from a far left Avatar.)
- Hold left on the left joystick to scroll left through the Avatars.
- Hit Left Bumper to switch to Colors while still holding left.
- You might crash here, but if not, hit Right bumper to return to Avatars while still holding left.
- Repeat steps 7 and 8 until you experience the crash. It didn’t take me any more than 3 or 4 tries with these steps.
So, I wasn’t doing these stupid steps when I got the bug, I was just scrolling through my avatars to look at them and switched to colors.
It looks like this happens when you’re partially scrolled past an Avatar when you tab to Colors.
I had a few friends do this, too, so I know it’s not just me.
