Once again. looks like we have the horrid Reach physics (in the current RTX build). Link Below.

The reach hog physics were fantastic?

No. They weren’t. Craptasic: In a Bad sense, extremely crappy.

your logic is flawed!! what is bad about it… that it flips when taking jump at high speeds???
also remember they said the version being played at RTX isnt finished

Did you notice at around 2:33 when a few spartan fired DMR/BR shots at the hog while it was in mid-air, FLIPPING IT like in Reach?
triple kill…nobody in here is agreeing with you, if your concern is because shooting at a warthog actually does something to the other person…your playing the wrong game

So…your talking about flawed physics.
So a vehicle going at a high velocity forward, already in a forward motion, also in the midst of flipping, cannot be affected by high velocity bullets that impact it’s already forward motion, causing it to go further in that motion and come full circle to the fact that it’s flipping?
The physics are craptastic…seems legit.

Triple kill…this is sarcasm…

This was really a frustrating problem with Reach. Low-caliber bullets shouldn’t be able to flip or destroy a Warthog. I hope the latter part hasn’t been included as it looked a bit unclear in the video how easily did the Warthog get destroyed.
> triple kill…nobody in here is agreeing with you, if your concern is because shooting at a warthog actually does something to the other person…your playing the wrong game
Thats where your wrong. No one here has realized what I have pointed out so I guess I have to yell… THE DMR/BR SHOTS FLIP THE WARTHOG WHILE IN MID-AIR. This is 100% incorrect real physics. In a real-life situation, mere bullets cannot flip an entire bulk of a car whilst in mid-air. That just makes absolutley no sense. I was not talking about the player themselves.
As long as they give Vehicles more Health so it doesn’t blow up from non-anti-vehicle weapons I’d be happy.
I could see nades to blow it up but yes I can agree to a point with the OP.
In Reach I passed on Driving vehicles because of how easy they blew up. Just took DMRs to blow it up after juggling you in the air.
In H3 I was a good Hog or Mongoose Driver. I’ve been able to get my gunners Perfections by using team work and also the Hog in H3 took some decent damage and wasn’t blown up by BR team fire unlike how in Reach two guys with DMRs could stop a Warthog.

The bullets really don’t carry enough momentum to flip the Warthog. If we are going to talk about the physical aspect of it, if you shoot a flying car even with a .50 caliber rifle, you won’t get the car to flip around uncontrollably. Bue to the small size of the bullet, you either shoot so fast that it goes straight through or you don’t have enough force to flip the vehicle.

Exactly. The force of the bullets would be practically absorbed by the warthog.
as long as the hog can survive a fight with a dmr Im happy. Reach vehicles were a joke until anniversary. ahh gauss hog my friend, so under appreciated lol.

You do realize that a DMR uses the same caliber of bullet used by our modern day Minigun, correct? a 7.62 MM, shot as a single fire mind you by a gas propelled weapon that, within a few shots, can not only puncture through an energy shield that encases the Covenant Sangheilli or ‘Elites’, but can also puncture through the pure titanium alloy that is a Spartan’s armor.
And finally, the BR, a Burst-fire, gas propelled weapon that fires 9.5x40mm KURZ(or at least it did in the Halo 3 era) which is an armor piercing round shot at a higher rate of fire than the DMR itself, so you’ve got dual firepower of both equally deadly and high velocity weapons hitting a vehicle whilst it’s in a forward motion in mid-air, already on the cusp of tilting forward and flipping, put enough bullets into something that’s in a perpetual motion and it will flip, it’s been done in space, in mid-air jumps, and underwater.
Your logic is broken.
Halo 3 vehicle physics have been the best so far, imho
What worries me the most is the splatter physics. The spartans just flattened under the mongoose. What I remember from Halo 3 is bodies flying through the air/ tumbling along the ground from splatters. The vehicles actually reacted to hitting players, which are physical objects so that makes sense. And players would actually be impacted by the hood of the vehicle. It’s reeeaaaalllllyy disappointing to see its like Reach
looks way more boring than it could
(Edit) Check it out you’ll be depressed

Lolwut? The definition of an alloy is “a mixture or metallic solid solution composed of two or more elements”. If it’s pure, it’s not an alloy. The two are mutually exclusive.

It’s a juicy contradiction.
