why are people reset for AFKing FF but not reset for crap like this?

i don’t understand what you’re talking about but it doesn’t matter since talking about specific people is against the TOS.
I meant that he has told me he boosted grifball/slayer/ect to inheritor. With guests in his lobbies almost every game. But this is against the TOS so if a community admin wants to lock down this thead its fine. I just want to make a point,
Cause what that guy is doing isnt really effecting anybodys actual game,whereas AFK can change the outcome of games.
But if he’s doing it in MM using Full-party AFK guests, that is most certainly said to be a no-no, and a Banhammerable offense. Sidenote: Full party guest AFK boosting was bannable under Bungie; no idea if 343i feels the same way. And I’m not sure that full-party boosting gets you credit reset as I haven’t done FPB much. My bet is he’s gotten a credit-earning ban a few times for it, but not a full credit reset.
If the player gets some kind of life affirming satisfaction from boosting stats, as sad as it is, so be it.
Don’t impact my gaming experience and I really don’t care.
Boosting is a banable offense and should be dealt with. Report it and move on.

The game in question, where you met this Inheritor was Fire Fight. It looks as if this Inheritor got over 3 times as many kills as you did. (232 vs 63) Hmmm 63 kills, thats boarder line AFK in my book. Glass houses buddy.

Despite what the person in question may have told you, it looks like they’ve actually been playing the game. If he’s been running with an AFK group in Grifball then he would be losing alot of games and it wouldn’t work out very well.
The is being locked now for being against the Forum Rules. This wasn’t really going anywhere to being with anyways.
