Did 343i raise the cr cap? Just wondering.
I don’t think so.
I’ve accumulated over 2 million credits on my profile offline putting me at “General grade 4.” As I understand it, if I choose to take my credits online, it will make me forfeit all of my current credits (about 800,000) and that’s fine with me. Also, it will take away the majority of the armory that I’ve unlocked and I’m fine with that too. What I want to know is: will it also reduce my rank or will I remain at General grade 4? I don’t really care about the rank per se, but I have an armor configuration that I’m quite pleased with and most of the pieces require that I be at least General grade 1. If I can keep my rank, I’ll be able to buy each piece from the armory as soon as I have the credits. But, if I’m demoted all the way back down to Sargent, I’ll need to go through all the ranks again.

I started off line too and got into the Major grades before going online; You will lose your Credits, armour and rank. But you will get access to the Challenges and commendations to increase credits faster and earn your rank back.
