Daisy 023 wore it in halo legends homecomming.
Cqb has been my favorite for 10 years, and I miss it every match.
To wear a helmet for soo long you come to view it as your character. (Almost you)
I was dissapointed it wasn’t in halo 4.
Irritated that it’s still not in halo 5.
Canonically the CQB armor didn’t even exist in both those times. But yeah I miss it.
It was my armor in Reach and 3. I had to jump over to Warrior for 4 and 5.

I would say prototype, but they wouldn’t have a working model 20 years before it’s official service date.
Doing some research daisy wore a mark 4 variant
That looked like cqb. (The mark 6 variant)
And the one in reach was likely a mark 5 permulation.

Yes it was aesthetically simular.
Fact: Sam 034 was the first casualty.
And in halo wars marines say “for samuel!” When they kill something.(as tribute)
In light of his sacrifice that proved the covenant can be killed.

Canonically that’s been changed to where if an armor set existed in Halo 3 or Reach it likely existed as a prototype or even “fully released” so to speak since 2010. Why? Because 343i.

Those are just aesthetic representations meant to give the characters a personality. Just like linda, Kelly, and freds helmets didn’t exist during that time. Itd be hard to tell blue team apart if they all had the exact same helmet on. Sam died in 2525 and Daisy died shortly after on Harvest. CQB entered service around 2550

How are they going to test it?
Sure they could run symulations, maybe balistic tests.

They probably had to be field tested by a spartan.

It’s harder than it looks, can’t keep it interesting without plot twists.
And a twist sometimes blurs canon.
I know halo 5’s dlc is free, accept the champion pack. ($9.99 /100k req)
But I’d buy a Cqb pack for the same or more.

Pathfinder is such a poor compromise for someone looking for a T shaped visor.
I definitely miss CQB. I used it in Halo 3 and Halo Reach. I really didn’t like the majority of armours in Halo 4, and Halo 5’s mostly seem a little meh. Maybe it’s just because I want CQB back. My SPARTAN’s just don’t seem to fit me without it.

I know, close isnt the same. I almost wore pathfinder and valkyrie.
