It’s model is finished, maybe color but that’s all they would need.
It’s linked to the 3d model companies site about that helmet.
But it was taken down.
The image can be found on google.
Other models can be found from them, done for halo 5.
I really do want a return of the CQB armor and helmet. I would mainly use the CQB helmet with the ODST Nightfall armor, unless they give it that tactical look with a knife.

Still, this could be either very exciting or very disappointing. I have no idea why 343i would recreate such an incredible helmet, only to leave it unused. It’s no secret that there’s a lot of demand for the return of CQB. It would only make sense for them to put it in.
To be honest, I was never a big fan of CQB. Too rounded for me, I’ve always preferred Recon, specially the Reach version. However it’d still be a good addition, as it’s better than other Halo 5 helmets (Really, what on Earth were they thinking of when making Seeker!?) and if the 3D model was made then even more reason. That, EOD and Mark V (H4 Version) are IMO the 3 helmets they should bring back.

Looking at it I think was used for fall of reach animated. (haven’t compared them yet)
Even if, people asking for it and exists but only used for a short time during a cinimatic…
You have what we want 343, and it wold be a quick easy thing.
As easy as making a new armor skin/variant.

I know none of them same “Halo 3 variant”. Just thinking of them as I go. Was the Gauss Hog in halo 2?
Maybe we could get the halo 3 spikers, that would be pretty awesome
stuff like that are for Gen II super-soldiers, unless MC wear it it. it the age of Gen IV Spartan where they like the new style of design an stuff that suit them as there might be some that like the old stuff an want an upgrade version. CQB is redeign into something new or placed in an museum of SII
