I’d like to see a return of a lot of older armor perms but the design philosophy over at 343i makes it seem like they’re purposefully distancing themselves from the older models in favor of their own half-baked originals. Some of the helmet designs in 5 especially make me question what the thought process was.

Probably has more to do with Halo Wars 2 being in development than anything else.
I’d love for this and EOD to come back! Hopefully in the next updates??

The helmets with gigantic foreheads always make me face palm. What is with the medieval helmet helmet?

I love the cqb helmet. I used it in Reach all the time, would’ve used it in H3 if I was not an Elite.
I’d agree, many of the helmets look silly. But that doesn’t affect gameplay and people do use them. So it’s a non-issue in my books.
All of the other classic helmets got to be in later titles.(rogue either)
Why not CQB?

I still can’t understand how helmets like Seeker are in the game and classic ones like CQB are not.
Some of the helmet designs in this game are utter trash. Also, I want a more classic looking recon; 343 ruined it with those silly oversized rebreather things.

There is no way Hayabusa will happen. They made a deal with Dead or Alive, so that game had a spartan Character (Nicole-458) and Halo had the Hayabusa Armor, it was a cool, but ultimately, one time thing.
