i seriously miss the CQB armor from halo 3, i at least thought it looked cool…i’m not sure what others think but i would pay $100 bucks (seriously) for that armor as dlc or something but i heard somewhere they would add new armors and stuff later so maybe. My point is there has been a good bit of outcry from EOD fans but nothing from cCqb fans…again maybe it’s just me.
I honestly don’t know why they abandoned some classic helmets all together in Halo 4 and 5.
ODST, CQB, Rouge, Hayabusa, Security and Halo 3 Recon (without the huge jawline) all look immensely better than the majority of new helmets in Halo 4. I say that make some alterations (positive ones) if they have to and bring back all the beloved helmets of the past, because 343i’s original designs are sub-par IMO.

Why? Is there a lore issue with it I’m not aware of? I don’t really see a practical reason why it had to go.
Sure they’d have to fix it up a bit to fit Halo 5’s art style and there’s a pretty huge chance they’ll butcher it, but I just want to see it in multiplayer again.

Hayabusa armor was put in Halo 3 because Team NINJA made a Spartan character for Dead or Alive 4. Ryu Hayabusa is a character in Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden, and the armor was based off of him. Dead or Alive isn’t Xbox exclusive anymore, and even if it was, I doubt that sort of deal would be made again.
