Sorry if I’m spelling Covenant wrong, but I was wondering how many people have completed forerunner & Covenant destroyer, and how long did it take to finish?

I only finished the Covenant destroyer as of now.
I’ve played total of 422 Spartan ops in Halo 4.
I would have to say about 150 games of Spartan ops that’s without grinding through it. Though episode one, chapter 2 sniper alley is the best for Covenant destroy IMO.

It’s hard to get without grinding. Makes the game more like you’re WORKING rather than playing and having fun. But I’ll do it.
I finished Forerunner Destroyer. It took me about 3-4 months to complete it. It was long, hard, and annoying…
I was going to try to get Forerunner Destroyer for the Vanguard armor, but then I saw how many Crawler Snipers I’d have to kill. It’d take hours of playing the same chapter over and over again. Eugh.
If you’re interested, there’s a spreadsheet somewhere that gives a close approximation of the number of each enemy in all 50 chapters so you know where to hunt.
Covenet was pretty easy but Forerunner I worked on a little bit over time, then one day I thought I should finish it so I spent a whole week doing nothing but Spartan ops and finished the commendations.
I got Covenant after a lot of MMO-style grinding.
Forerunner can screw off. I am NOT wasting 3 months killing Crawler Snipers.
Two more games killing jackal majors and I’ll have Covenant completed. Forerunner is going to be a nightmare…
I completed them both. I forgot how long it took me. I’ve played many days worth of spartan ops though.
I have calculated how much more I have left for 4 runner, here it is:
This one level(Spartan miller), is probably the best level for completing forerunner because it does one percent per game which takes about 15 minutes and I have 66% left so that means 66 games left which is going to take, 21hrs or 1360 minutes.
I’m almost finished with Covenant Destroyer on my main account. But Forerunner destroyer? Thats a whole new kettle of fish. It would be nice if 343 could release a patch to at least lower how many Crawlers its gonna take to master the respective commendations.
I mean, its a total of 5125 normal Crawlers to master the Crawler Slayer commendation. Crawler Sniper is a total of 2475 to master, and they’re rare to find. I think the most you can get in a single chapter is 18 (Ep5 ch1).

I don’t think you can get that many crawler snipes in one mission. I think the most you can get is like 12, and that’s if your lucky…
Earned the Covenant Destroyer commendation after several weeks and a divorce. Will start on the Forerunner Destroyer commendation once social services comes by to take my kids into custody.
I would find it acceptable if they grouped Crawler Primes and Snipes together, because, as stated earlier, snipers are pretty rare.
I’m no where close to either of them… But I am about 90% done with war games… Just need those large amount if wins then I will move to ops… But ya… A lot of grinding
