covies and prometheans allied confirmed

it has been confirmed covenant and prometheans will be allied in the campaign, so maybe brutes could pop in to heelp the humans towards the end of the game … hmmmmm

Thats an odd way to look at it. But we don’t know why they would be helping eachother out at all. Considering some of the prometheans kind of killed some covies in the campaign we saw.

Unfortunately, Brutes are confirmed out.

no idea in the recent interview they said they will be working together but i know what you mean, a promethean killed the elite with the sword, but we never saw what did it…mysterious

Seeing as the Covies worship Forerunners, I can see the Ancient Evil using this to his advantage. Even if he’s late at asking the Covies join him.

Will definitely spice gameplay up even furthur!

Links or it’s bull -Yoink-

I feel a big twist coming involving how they do actually work together, otherwise it could just mean that sometimes your engaged in battle with a group of Covenant only to have a swarm of Prometheans engage and attempt to destroy each of you. I still feel there are enemies missing from the complete puzzle or the Chess Board as they used to hint at.

Like mah Sentinels!?

Yeah, the Storm Covenant and Prometheans are going to ally with each other, it’s the whole reason the Storm Covies are on Requiem to begin with.

heres the link read the interview

Didn’t the article say that the interesting thing would be how they ally? In combination with THIS picture and that statement, it makes me think that maybe the Storm are being controlled by the whatever is controlling the Prometheans. That would be pretty interesting. As it could possibly happen to your marines as well.

EDIT: Also if you think about it, The Flood was able to take over The Covenant and your Marines and turn them against you so this isn’t too farfetched an idea. In fact, it would be more of an emotional tole on you as you would have to kill your own marines in their human form. As opposed to a flood looking creature that used to be a marine.

What is a “Promethean launcher” Frank mentions it when talking about the campaign?

> What is a “Promethean launcher” Frank mentions it when talking about the campaign?

They probably just spelled it wrong, it should be a Promethean Lancher.

Makes sense now brain cells still waking up

Lol the one question and answer I didn’t read that actually had something new in it…

But I don’t like the sounds of this… btw in that E3 campagin demo, wasn’t there a Promethean throwing an elite?

Old news.

They consider the Didact a god. They want him to wake up and probably take control of the Storm as new leaders.

Personally, I dont see why the Prometheans, AKA Forerunner Constructs would help anyone…

Like in this picture, not a good way to make new friens…

Besides, its most likely this guy who is running the show.

> Spoilers?
> They consider the Didact a god. They want him to wake up and probably take control of the Storm as new leaders.

AND THIS GUY JUST SPOILED EVERYONE because he doesn’t know how to use spoilers.

It makes a lot of sense that the Storm would eventually ally with the Promethean as the Prome’s would need help against the Chief as the campaign progresses.
This shows an AI/force at work behind the scenes, unlike CE which was all autonomous actions on the Forerunner side.
