Anybody else think the Carbine needs a slight damage buff? I’m talking one less bullet to kill people, nothing major.
Sometimes it just seems the gun can almost kill someone, but not quite…

Agreed.
To make it a medium between a assault rifle and a BR it does need a bit of a buff. I use it a fair amount but it does seem lacking.
I often do okay with it but many times I do get owned by the BR.
Maybe it could have a debuff, but at the same time a higher RoF. That way, I’d be better for those who are able to track the enemy to a T.

I mean, the DMR and Needler Rifle were 5 and 7 shot kills respectively and there was no problem with the difference in damage with those weapons…
I dunno, but I love the Carbine. It is the fastest weapon. you can pull the trigger almost as fast as you want.

It already requires 8 shots minimum to kill…anymore and it will become unusable.
Its fire rate is fine…it’s the highest of all the precision loadout weapons
Yeah, just one less bullet would be nice.
I love the Carbine- but I think it’s fine. For me I usually always beat a BR w/ it which is good enough.
I agree but to a point, I mean I kind of dont think it should at the same time because it’s a well balanced weapon. It’s by far my favorite weapon in Halo 4 and I can out carbine a DMR and a BR 8 times out of 10, the reason why I think it’s not AS powerful as the DMR and BR is because the carbine has very very little to almost no bullet spread, no bloom, and has a good rate of fire and is more accurate then the BR and has more range then the BR, and the carbine has fire rate over the DMR, if you get the first shot on someone with the DMR or BR then you will most likely win the fire fight, but if the other person gets the first shot then your chances of losing the fight are high.
How can you say the carbine needs a buff? It is the only weapon I use on the game and I absolutely DESTROY everyone else. Always out shooting BRs and DMRs as long as I don’t miss my shots.
Any buff and it would be insanely over powered.
I just think because there is no bloom on the headshot weapons that 8sk minimum is a little too weak. Especially considering the pinpoint accuracy of the DMR and light rifle
