I thought the covenant was gone the war was over so why are they in halo 4 ?? does anyone know
Apparently it’s a splinter faction of the Covenant led by a group of Elites who do not side with the Arbiter.

The new Covenant believe that one of their gods is there. Don’t worry, all will be explained in the game.

Not sure. They probably just got lucky or found Cortana’s distress beacon and went with it. Although I do think it has been stated that they believe Requiem has one of their gods on it, ie a Forerunner.
But we ALL know what happens when Covies start messing with Forerunner stuff.
yeah but with the campaign demo at E3 the covenant are there for something, which could be the cryptum or something else

Well it does appear to be a Shield World, yet it differs from the others. I have a theory right now that it’s a prison of sorts. But to really understand it, you’ll have to read Halo: Cryptum and Primordium, the first two Forerunner saga novels.

If you actually played Halo Wars you’d know that the Shield World gets blown up at the end of the game.

Halo wars is a good game, just cause you aren’t good at RTS’ doesn’t mean it is bad. And yes it is a shield world but different. Halo wars’ shield world was a huge planet with a hollow inside and a mini sun in the middle, This is a planet that is hollo with another planet in it. There is no sun but light is artificially created.

its not that im bad at it i just didnt like in my opinion. im not a fan of rts games

It got an 82, that is good. Also they gave reach a 91. What does that say? Finally the op hasn’t even finish the game let alone gave it a good amount of play time, you cant form an opinion from that.
